Job Title: Copy Project Controls/Document Controller (PCDC)

Location: Saint-Nazaire, near Nantes


Eosol Group, a leader in project management, is seeking a highly experienced Project Controls/Document Controller (PCDC) to join our dynamic team. With a required 15 years of experience in the field, we are looking for a dedicated professional who can bring their expertise to our projects. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both DOCUMENT CONTROLLER and PROJET CONTROLS functions, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of project lifecycle management and documentation integrity.


Key Responsibilities:

As a PCDC within our EPCM environment, you will be instrumental in project management and control, ensuring the integrity and efficiency of documentation and control processes. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:



  • Implementation and Maintenance: Implement and maintain robust project controls and document management systems tailored to the needs of complex EPCM projects.
  • Project Monitoring and Control: Supervise and meticulously control the project schedule, costs, and scope. This involves tracking progress, identifying potential deviations, and reporting on key performance indicators.
  • Document Management: Manage, distribute, and archive all project documentation in accordance with established procedures and client requirements. Ensure that all documents are accurately indexed, version-controlled, and readily accessible to authorized personnel.
  • Information Flow: Facilitate the smooth flow of information between project teams, stakeholders, and clients, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
  • Risk Management Support: Assist in the identification, assessment, and mitigation of project risks, particularly those related to documentation and control processes.
  • Reporting: Prepare and distribute regular project status reports, including progress updates, cost forecasts, schedule analysis, and document control metrics.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project control and documentation activities adhere to company standards, industry best practices, and client specifications.
  • System Optimization: Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to existing project controls and document management systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, procurement specialists, and construction teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of project objectives.
  • Audits: Support internal and external project audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Procedures Development: Contribute to the development and refinement of project control and document management procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in Project Controls and Document Control, preferably within an EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Management) framework.
  • Proven track record of success in managing documentation and control for large-scale, complex projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Proficiency in various project controls software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and document management systems (e.g., SharePoint, Aconex, EDMS).
  • Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, and construction processes.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Spanish is considered a significant asset.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse teams and stakeholders.
