As an established engineering leader with a background in either electrical or mechanical building services design, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our French business. This is an opportunity to combine strategic leadership, commercial responsibility and technical credibility as you drive growth within one of Europe's most dynamic data centre markets.

Working closely with our European leadership team and global network, you will lead the development of our Paris office, strengthen client relationships and build a high-performing multidisciplinary team. You will be trusted to deliver sustainable business growth, maintain exceptional project standards and further enhance Black & White Engineering's reputation across France.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop and execute Black & White Engineering's growth strategy across France.
• Lead the Paris office, ensuring strong commercial performance, operational excellence and sustainable business growth.
• Build, develop and retain high-performing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strengthen client relationships and identify strategic opportunities within the French data centre market.
• Lead major bids, proposals and business development activities to secure new projects.
• Oversee the delivery of complex engineering projects, ensuring quality, programme and commercial objectives are achieved.
• Partner with European and global leadership teams to align regional objectives with wider business strategy.

Essential Skills

• Degree qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• Significant building services design experience, ideally including exposure to data centre projects and mission-critical environments.
• Strong technical leadership credentials with the ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Proven experience managing complex project delivery and business operations within a consulting engineering environment.
• Strong commercial acumen, including experience with business planning, fee management, contract administration and P&L responsibility.
• Chartered Engineer status, or working towards chartership, with membership of a relevant professional institution preferred.
