Job Details

You'll manage litigation matters from initial client contact through trial, working closely with a small, experienced team of trial attorneys. This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants hands‑on courtroom experience and close mentorship rather than being one of many associates in a large firm.

What You'll Do

• Handle civil litigation matters independently, from case assessment through resolution
• Take depositions, argue motions, and appear in court regularly
• Work on matters involving premises liability, insurance defense, employment litigation, and/or public entity law
• Communicate directly with clients, including insurers and institutional clients
• Collaborate with a small team of trial‑focused attorneys

What You'll Need

• Active bar admission in the relevant state
• Strong litigation, research, and writing skills
• Comfort with a trial‑heavy practice and regular court appearances
• Ability to manage a caseload with real ownership and autonomy
• Prior civil defense or insurance defense experience
