This Welding Engineer position is aimed at a professional who knows how to transform complex constraints into reliable, durable solutions adapted to industrial imperatives.

You will work at the heart of high value-added projects, where every technical choice matters and where the quality of assemblies determines the strength, safety and performance of installations.

Your role will be to provide your welding expertise at all key stages of projects, in close collaboration with technical teams, industrial partners and the sector’s regulatory requirements.Your main tasks will be as follows:Define, validate and monitor the technical requirements related to welding processes on equipment or installations in the energy sector.Contribute to the preparation and review of technical specifications, welding procedures and technical documentation.Analyze manufacturing, assembly, qualification and inspection issues in order to propose robust and realistic solutions.Participate in the selection of materials, processes and welding parameters according to project constraints.Act as an interface with project, quality, production, methods and inspection teams.Monitor non-conformities, analyze deviations and lead associated corrective actions.Ensure compliance with standards, benchmarks and regulatory requirements applicable to welding.Provide technical support during reviews, expert assessments, tests, qualifications and maintenance or manufacturing operations.Contribute to the capitalization of best practices and the sharing of your expertise within the teams.This position requires a solid technical background and the ability to operate comfortably in demanding environments, where the accuracy of analysis and the quality of communication make all the difference.

We are looking for an engineer capable of applying welding expertise with sound judgment, combining mastery of processes, understanding of industrial constraints and a strong sense of customer service.

Beyond theoretical knowledge, your value will lie in your ability to interpret situations, secure technical choices and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

You know how to work methodically, keep an overview of a project and demonstrate responsiveness when subjects require rapid, well-argued decisions.Desired profile:Higher education degree in engineering or equivalent, with a specialization in metallurgy, materials, welding, mechanics or industrial engineering.Proven experience of 5 to 10 years in an industrial environment, ideally in energy, nuclear, equipment construction, maintenance or manufacturing.Good command of welding processes, metallic materials and qualification issues.Knowledge of standards, codes and benchmarks related to welding and industrial quality.Ability to read and use complex technical documentation, write clear reports and formalize recommendations.Strong interpersonal skills to work as an interface with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.Rigor, analytical skills, autonomy and a strong synthesis mindset.Professional command of French; technical English is an asset depending on the project scope. xuezdbg The salary offered for this position is between 50,000 and 55,000 gross per year, depending on your experience and qualifications.
