This role combines hands-on technical ownership of the Sophia Antipolis site with a broader EMEA technical contribution.You will ensure reliable, safe, and high-performing building operations locally, while also helping to develop and standardise preventive maintenance (PPM), vendor models, and technical practices across multiple sites.This is a hybrid role: part operator, part builder.Key ResponsibilitiesSite Technical Ownership (Sophia)Be responsible for day-to-day on technical operations across building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BMS, and access systemsDeliver and continuously improve maintenance activities dedicated to improve preventionAct as the key point of contact for technical issues and incidentsCarry out hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting where appropriateMaintain accurate asset records, documentation, and compliance standardsMonitor system performance and look for opportunities for improvement2.

Vendor & Supplier ManagementCoordinate and oversee on-site technical vendors and service providersSupport clear definition of scopes, expectations, and service levelsContribute to vendor selection, tendering, and contract processesEnsure consistent quality and follow-up of external interventions3.
EMEA Technical ContributionSupport the development and implementation of PPM frameworks across sitesSupply to optimize technical standards, asset strategies, and protocolsProvide technical input and support to other locations where neededTo demonstrate autonomy to see opportunities to improve consistency and efficiency across sites4.
Workplace Operations SupportSupport office setups, internal moves, and technical logisticsCarry out light maintenance and multi-trade interventionsAssist with day-to-day workplace operational needsScope & ImpactTechnical subject matter contributor for Sophia site operationsContributor to EMEA workplace technical development and consistencyBalanced focus on local delivery and wider improvement initiativesSuccess in this role is measured by both the performance of the Sophia site and meaningful contributions to enhancing technical practices across multiple locations.Skills & ExperienceHands-on experience across building systems (electrical, HVAC, general maintenance)Familiarity with building management systems (BMS) and maintenance processesAbility to resolve issues independentlyVendor ManagementExperience working with external suppliers and service providersAbility to support coordination, follow-up, and performance trackingProcess and improvementExperience with planned maintenance or structured maintenance approachesInterest in improving and standardising ways of working across sitesKey competenciesProactive and self-managing approachLeadership ApproachComfortable balancing tasks with improvement workClear communication with both technical and non-technical customersWhatWe’reLooking ForA person who is comfortable and had a strong interest on working across both hands-on technical delivery and broader improvement initiatives, and who is motivated by improving how workplace environments operate across multiple locations.Accommodations at ArmAt Arm, we want to build extraordinary teams.
