About Biomemory
Pour postuler, il vous suffit de lire la description de poste suivante et de vous assurer de joindre les documents pertinents.
Global data creation is exploding. Only 30% of the world's data is durably stored. Data centers already consume around 2% of global electricity. As volumes double every few years, the silicon-based storage model is reaching structural limits.
Biomemory is a global pioneer in the DNA data storage market. Biomemory develops IT-friendly DNA Data Storage and cybersecurity solutions engineered for data center environments.
Our interoperable, modular architecture combines biosecure DNA media, industrialized end-to-end write/store/read processes, and interoperable IT interface to create a new storage tier optimized for density, longevity and operational efficiency.
Headquartered in Paris, Biomemory aims to serve the fast-growing international cold storage market.
Join us in rewriting the future of data storage
About the role
As a Talent Acquisition & People Specialist, your primary objective will be to grow Biomemory's teams by recruiting the talent the company needs, while providing broader HR support across the employee lifecycle .
You report directly to the Head of People, and join a People team composed of the Head of People, an Office Manager and a Talent Acquisition Specialist.
The role will require :
- versatility,
- administrative rigor,
- and the ability to work across several HR topics in parallel, in an environment where not everything is fully formalized yet.
Your day-to-day responsibilities :
- Recruitment : sourcing, screening and candidate follow-up alongside the current Talent Acquisition Specialist, defining hiring needs with managers;
- Onboarding & talent management: building and improving the onboarding journey, following up on talent, structuring career paths;
- HR administrative support: drafting employment contracts, tracking and renewing probation periods;
- Payroll backup: occasional support to Thibaut (Head of People) and the Office Manager (Catherine) on payroll topics, without owning this area.
These responsibilities are given as a guide : we're looking for people who can adapt quickly to new topics and priorities.
About you
You are a versatile, curious profile, comfortable with ambiguity. You recognize yourself, or your future self, in the following :
- Pluridisciplinary. Recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, some payroll exposure — you'd rather cover several topics than specialize in just one;
- Organized. You can manage several files in parallel with method, without dropping any of them;
- Open-minded. Topics you don't master yet don't hold you back — you learn fast, on the job;
- Startup-ready. You know things aren't always 100% structured, and you adapt accordingly;
- Bilingual. You are comfortable speaking and writing in both French and English;
- Employee-experience oriented. Candidate experience matters as much to you as employee experience.
- Tools nice to know: LinkedIn Recruiter & other job boards, PayFit, Gusto (HRIS USA), Odoo
It's OK if you don't tick every box. We're building a team with varied levels of experience (2 to 6 years): if you're talented and motivated, we'd still like to hear from you.
And if you...
- Have already worked in a startup or a fast-growing environment;
- Have already combined recruitment with generalist HR experience;
- Are curious about deeptech or the scientific world;
... then you definitely should consider applying.
