Please note: This position requires a full-time on-site presence in Strasbourg, five days per week. Previous professional experience working within a pharmaceutical environment is essential. If you cannot commit to five days per week on-site or do not have previous pharmaceutical industry experience, please do not apply.


We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Project Manager to support a major pharmaceutical manufacturing expansion project in Strasbourg, France.


Working alongside the Project Manager, you will support the execution and follow-up of construction activities, helping ensure project actions, contractors and associated risks are effectively managed as the project progresses through construction and qualification phases.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Manager with ongoing project and construction follow-up activities.
  • Track project action plans and follow up on outstanding activities.
  • Use Microsoft Project to support project planning and tracking activities.
  • Support activities throughout construction execution and qualification phases.
  • Ensure constraints and risks associated with the industrial environment are considered within project activities.
  • Prepare contractor safety plans (Plans de Prévention).
  • Support the issuing and management of hot-work permits.
  • Monitor subcontractors and follow up on their activities on site.
  • Support coordination between relevant project stakeholders and contractors.
  • Undertake limited field/site monitoring activities as required.


Experience Required

  • Previous professional experience within a pharmaceutical environment is essential.
  • Good understanding of construction project execution.
  • Understanding of project qualification phases.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project is required.
  • Experience tracking project actions and action plans.
  • Ability to identify and integrate industrial constraints and associated risks into project activities.
  • Experience working with and monitoring contractors/subcontractors.
  • Understanding of contractor safety documentation and hot-work permit processes.
  • French language capability is required due to the site-based nature of the project.
  • Must be available to work on-site in Strasbourg five days per week. xuezdbg
