Doa and Policy Section Manager

**Overall objective to be achieved**:
The objective of the DOA and Policy Section Manager is to help drive activities which enable the business and our people to operate efficiently, effectively, and in a compliant manner.
This will be accomplished by analyzing the needs of and risks to the business, identifying how DOA and Policy supports or hinders various stakeholders, maintaining essential streams of work, and establishing new streams of work to challenge and improve the organization.
All those serve the main objective which is to support the company in achieving its strategic and operational objectives.
**Reporting line**:
- Direct Manager: Corporate Governance Manager
- Manager's Manager: Corporate Governance and Sustainability Director
**Main tasks and responsibilities**:
- Support the Direct Manager to set Delegation of Authority (DOA) and Policy priorities, execute strategies, and deliver impactful solutions across Nissan AMIEO.
- Facilitate Regional DOA and Policy changes, synchronizing with Global changes/direction.
- Assist the regional DOA/Policy Review Group to meet regularly, delivering a valuable agenda and beneficial experience driven by global and regional operational and strategic priorities.
- Address business queries to ensure decisions are compliant with DOA and Policy rules.
- Prepare various communications and embed changes across regional DOA/Policy platforms and resources in a timely manner.
- Prepare, update, and deploy user training on DOA & Policy.
- Support critical projects where DOA/Policy is central to the change with special focus on improving AMIEO employee enablement.
- Enhance the bridge with our global counterparts to deliver mutually beneficial ways of working and results.
- Enable One Team spirit to thrive by developing and strengthening our regional DOA and Policy network to reach its full potential.
- Support Compliance and Audit investigations
**Additional tasks and responsibilities
- Enable users of relevant regional tools to have successful, sustainable experiences (eDecision, etc.)
- Ensure usefulness and accuracy of platforms, assets, and trainings (WIN, SharePoint, FAQ, etc.)
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and deploy communications about DOA and Policy changes according to stakeholder and communication channel.
- Aid cross-functional counterparts and continuous improvement with testing of DOA usage accuracy.
- Leverage Voice of the Employee (GES, etc.) to identify and propose opportunities for DOA and Policy simplification/employee enablement.
- Develop/deploy specific DOA/Policy-related surveys for continuous improvement.
**Required background, experience, and education:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Law/Legal Affairs, Risk Management, Compliance, Operations Management
- 5-7 years or more of experience in any of the above preferred
- Strong Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
**Skills, abilities, and languages:
- Excellent command of English (speaking, writing).
- A mindset for collaboration and team spirit.
- An analytical and people-focused way of addressing business priorities and tasks.
- Excellent knowledge of change management and understanding of business processes.
- Previous experience driving problem solving, program management, improving efficiencies and effectiveness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Experience working with international stakeholders.
- Previous experience presenting at various committee meetings, training sessions, etc.
- Ability to execute with rigor in a fast-paced environment.
- Remaining organized, managing multiple stakeholders with limited supervisor support and guidance.
- Understanding and adhering to the highest level of confidentiality and behaving with integrity.
