Director, Program Management

Eaton’s Energy Transition, Digital & Services division is currently seeking a Program Management Director.
**What you’ll do**:
Responsible for the successful execution of ETDS Division’s strategic program portfolio and programs. Translates ETDS strategy into a program portfolio to manage the division's short and longterm goals, lead the platform, sites or business units program management and Integrated Product Team(s) to drive customer satisfaction, continuous improvement and life of the program financial performance by managing programs, contracts, and business relationships, and advises on critical Make or Buy / partnerships / aquisitions decisions with the GMs, in order to ensure that the division can achieve their strategic plan. In addition lead the programme management within the GLobal Product Line, co-ordinating programmes across the central development teams, within ETDS and the components and critical systems divisions.
A. Plan, organize and manage the divisions intercorrelated programs to achieve it's longterm strategy and business transformation.
B. Work closely across all functions and businesses to ensure program and projects are appropriately resourced, planned, budgetted and meet the KPIs.
C. Provide overall portfolio or site / business unit interface with senior leadership and the customers. Improve organization responsiveness to market requirements. Communication and manage customer expectations and commitments internal to the business.
D. Ensure adequate support to the program teams by coordinating PM reviews, preparing & publishing PM metrics and reports.
E. Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement. Enhance the quality of programs and develop program strategy, project delegation, and implementation, including robust risk mitigation plans. Faciliate the deployment of standard processes and tools.
F. Maintain metrics for programs and contracts for earned value (CPI/SPI), quality, technical performance and delivery through project phases.
G. Manage all risks and requirements of the program through effective planning, controlling, integrating all projects and programs and measuring all elements to ensure the requirements and goals are successfully achieved.
H. Manage customer contracts, pricing, terms and conditions and contractual flow-down through the organization. Establish and negotiate pricing strategies by system and/or product, market and by customer. Ensure effective change management process is utilized.
I. Play a key role in developing new business proposals and executing the overall program portfolio plan.
J. Seek team input to promote rapid resolution to issues. Coaches and provides feedback/rewards on performance indicators.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelors degree required; Engineering or Business degree preferred
- 10+ years experience in advanced leadership roles (preference given to program management responsibilities)
**Skills**:
- Experienced in Electrical New Product Development (NPD) programs
- Strong business and strategic acumen
- Project Management Institute (PMI) accreditation (PMP) or equivalent preferred
- Experience in Risk Management
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen
- Broad knowledge of the Electrical industry
- Proven Leadership skills - capability to lead change across multiple sites and customers globally.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills - both verbal and written with ability to make necessary status reports and technical presentations to Eaton management and customers
