Over the last few years, Sobi introduced new innovative treatment options for people rare diseases and with an impressive growth that led the company to be positioned as one of the main players in the market. Sobi portfolio has expanded over the last few years with additional hematology brands and now the company is preparing to expand into Nephrology. Sobi is looking to recruit a **Global Commercial Lead (GCL) Nephrology **to oversee strategy development and deployment of tactical initiatives across the Sobi territories. The Global Commercial Lead Nephrology will report to the VP, Head of Aspaveli® / Empaveli® and partner with all cross-functional stakeholders. The GCL-N will lead day to day brand operations to include launch preparation, market mapping and understanding, regulatory milestones, competitive landscape as well as the preparations for commercialization. Including, planning and implementation, creative branding, strategic positioning, strategic messaging, KOL advocacy, communication, budget management, data generation plan in collaboration with Medical, R&D, Tech Ops, Patient Access, Market Access colleagues and the Regional Heads ( EU, International and North America)

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Global Brand Strategy, messaging, congress strategy, KOL management, including Geographical Expansion and Training plan across all regions, affiliates and Sobi markets during pre-launch, launch and post launch of the indication in nephrology.
- Work closely with GET (Global Enterprise Team), CAT (Core Asset Team) to develop and support non branded strategy, messaging and communication during pre-launch. At launch the responsibilities will move towards the preparation of Brand Strategy, including but not limited to commercial tactics, CVA, brand messaging and positioning, congress strategy, KOL advocacy, and working together with cross functional team in making sure that all the tactics are aligned with the implementation of the brand strategy.
- Lead the development of brand positioning, market segmentation and targeting to drive strategic and tactical thinking. Alignment and quarterly synchronization with Apellis alliance partner. The Global Commercialization Lead is member of the JAC (Joint Alliance Committee with Apellis)
- Core Asset Team (CAT) permanent member. Representing the commercial function for Nephrology. The Commercial Lead Nephrology also works in alignment with the Commercial Lead PNH to guarantee the appropriate synergies and tackle the common obstacles.
- Leads the Global Enterprise/Brand Team (GET) for Nephrology, including cross-functional representatives from Market Access, Medical, Patient Access, Regulatory, Tech Ops, Business Intelligence, Finance and align team output to an integrated strategy for the brand. Coordinates the development and execution of the brand plan designed with CAT, GET and Regional input.
- Coordinate the development of the Long Range Plan by working in close collaboration with the VP Head of Aspaveli ® / Empaveli®, GET & CAT, the Commercial Lead PNH and supports the presentation to ExComm & CEO
- Work with VP, Head of Aspaveli / Empaveli in the preparation of Strategic Portfolio Review Discussions to ExComm & CEO for Nephrology in alignment with the commercial lead PNH.
- Ensure day to day brand activities are executed in alignment with major milestones and Sobi values. Activities include brand strategy and tactical development, country execution and adaptation, training and learning, internal and external communications, congress strategy, KOL management and advocacy, budget management, and KPI monitoring.
- Secure local market insights and needs are reflected into Global strategies and tactical development and implementation, by working closely with Business Intelligence and Business Development functions.
- Provide strategic guidance and tactical support to affiliates as needed to ensure local successful launch preparation and execution to fully leverage business opportunities and respond to local needs. Assist affiliates for development of local tactics/programs as needed to ensure consistency and alignment to Global brand and messages. Lead the monthly Aspaveli® / Empaveli® brand calls aimed to update on progress all affiliate colleagues and regional heads on matters related to the launch in nephrology.
- Control of External Expenses, promotion, advertisement maximizing Sobi resources and in alignment with Financial requirements and forecasting control. Ensure Aspaveli® / Empaveli® A&P stays within budget.
- Operate with high ethical standards in line with the Sobi corporate values and SOPs by ensuring ongoing completion of all required initial and ongoing training in local regulations and policies, and adherence to those regulations and policies for self and any direct reports

**Qualifications**
- Recent nephrology & orphan disease experience in a medical-marketing, marketing role for a minimum of 10 years
