Primary purpose of this position is to lead and drive the development of global brand strategies in strong collaboration with strategic affiliates and ensure successful execution in all relevant markets in order to fulfill the company’s long term growth ambition.

**Brand Team leadership**
- Lead the global brand team comprising marketing representatives from strategic markets and co construct brand strategies in aligned fashion to ensure consistent roll out across geographies
- Run regular brand team sessions to engage, motivate and generate key contributions from strategic affiliates and other Group Marketing & Medical functions into building global brand plans

**Market & brand diagnostic**
- Conduct appropriate reviews, research and analysis to identify key brand drivers & barriers as well as growth opportunities in order to shape long range brand strategy
- Ensure collective understanding of market and brand diagnostic with strategic markets and other group functions as a basis to building truly global brands

**Customer centric brand building and innovation**
- Use validated customer insights to develop global brand identities, positioning and activation campaigns, in strong liaison with our Customer Insight and Market Research function as well as external agencies
- Ensure that brand innovation projects (LCM) are clearly connected to identified and validated customer needs & wants as a foundation to successful long range brand lifecycle management

**Brand Lifecycle Management & innovation projects**
- Define long range lifecycle management program necessary to fuel durable, future brand growth in strong collaboration with Global Medical, Insight, Market Research and affiliates
- Act as marketing lead in innovation project teams (LCM, NPD), contributing to their delivery on time and on target in partnership with Global Project Management

**External opportunities evaluation**
- Contribute to external projects’ business evaluation, providing key marketing inputs (strategic/portfolio fit, business cases) and guidance to the project team in partnership with Business Development, Global Medical, and other functions involved.

**Global Brand Launch**
- Lead overall brand strategy definition in pre-launch phase for new products in assigned portfolio
- Develop & execute launch preparations, engaging with & motivating internal stakeholders
- Provide operational support to affiliates and ensure KPI based performance tracking to follow through.

**Global Marketing Initiatives**
- Lead development and timely delivery of global initiatives such as global campaigns in partnership with Digital Marketing, local marketing and other Group functions.
- Effectively & efficiently drive external agencies (creative, digital...).

**Global Pricing Governance**
- Define coherent price positioning and architecture to support overall brand objectives & ensure consistent implementation in strategic affiliates.
- Define net pricing expectations to achieve brand margin goals & ensure disciplined implementation by affiliates, in strong partnership with Global Pricing Management and Business Area Directors.

**International Key Account Management & Solutions**
- Proactively align with KAM on brand strategy & contribute to KAM plans and activities in line with brand objectives and initiatives, in close collaboration with KAM team Contribute to the development & deployment of customer solutions initiatives associated with global brands in collaboration with Solutions team.

**Qualifications**
- Formal marketing qualification (MSc/MBA)
- Minimum 10 years’ experience working in various marketing and business roles in Animal Health or similar sectors
- Experience working at affiliate level with operational marketing or sales for at least 3 years. Experience in an international marketing role (regional, global) is a plus.
- Languages: fluent English is a must. Another language is a plus
