Within the Risk department, you are responsible for the organization and management of the "Compliance" Risk Management for ING France, in functional connection with the parent company. In addition to your responsibilities as the Head of Compliance for Retail Banking residual activities and Wholesale Banking,, you lead ING France Compliance team and coordinate the Compliance activities of the various business lines at local level. You report hierarchically to the Chief Risk Officer (“CRO”) and functionally to Head of WB Compliance ENC.
**DoING**
In the areas of Risk falling within your scope of activity, namely compliance risks related to the banking sector including but not limited to the FATCA, MIFID, PSD2, customer protection, fight against money laundering and the financing of terrorism ("LCB-FT") and data protection, your main activities and responsibilities are the following:
- Lead the Compliance Team and coordinate Compliance activities related to both Retail and Wholesale businesses. Identify and further develop the staff capabilities and organize activities, tools and resources as required.
- Lead and implement a holistic and coherent view of the risks in connection with the Compliance domain, ensuring integration with broader organization's strategy. Take the lead of delivering change management plans, anticipating complexity and challenges
- Advice the various stakeholders to steer the implementation of relevant (Group and local) requirements. Ensuring no surprises and effectively and pro-actively informing and responding to queries and concerns from the regulators, MBB, SB and other stakeholders
- Manage regulatory relationships, represent Compliance function with the various regulatory bodies
The main challenges are:
- Manage a single team responsible for different compliance areas, while maintaining the specialties and specificities necessary for risk management adapted to the different business lines.
- Promote a global risk approach for the ING France entity, consistent with the residual Retail Banking and Wholesale Banking functional approaches
- Coordinate cross-functional projects with different functional lines
- Organize activities, tools and resources in such a way as to provide, above all else, adequate support to the businesses, while limiting costs as much as possible
**BeING**
**Level of education**:
- Bac +5 in banking law or control activities focused on compliance
**Level of experience**:
- At least 10-15years of experience in (Compliance) Risk and 1st line
- Being aware of international compliance trends and industry developments
- Having knowledge of Compliance and banking regulations (e.g. FATCA, KYC, MIFID, Market Abuse)
- Recognized Compliance Accreditation
**Business skills**:
- Fluent English (written and verbal)

- Demonstrated execution rigor
- Negotiation skills & influencing skills including the ability to manage conflicts.
- Managerial and organizational skills and ability to coordinate and delegate
