AXA Corporate Center’s main missions are to:
- Steer the entities in order to ensure the coherence of the strategies, the consistency of the commercial approaches as well as the optimization of the risks and results;

- Supporting the entities in order to help them to grow, to develop their offer, their management and steering standards as well as their risk management.
The head office of AXA Group (GIE AXA), based in La Défense Majunga, gathers the Group's corporate activities. It coordinates the various entities according to the Group's strategy and is responsible for managing international projects. The headquarters is composed with over 850 employees and is distinguished by its strong international culture (45 nationalities).
**About AXA Internal Audit**
AXA Internal Audit exists to help the Board and Executive Management protect the assets, reputation and sustainability of the organisation by providing an independent and objective assurance activity designed to add value and improve the organisation’s operations.
It helps the organisation accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes, in line with recognised professional standards for internal audit.
Within AXA Internal Audit, a Data Analytics Centre of Excellence is in charge of developing the use of analytics to improve the effectiveness of auditing. The team’s activities range from developing analytic dashboards that automate tests, to advanced techniques such as text mining and process mining, covering the full spectrum of business processes within AXA.
**Job Purpose**
AXA Internal Audit’s Data Analytics team is looking for a Data Analyst Intern to support the development of audit analytics & reporting solutions:
- The primary mission of the Intern will be to design, build and maintain a new PowerBI dashboard connected to AXA Internal Audit’s global tool to enable audit management to better steer Internal Audit’s activities and produce richer insights from the global data set.
- In addition, the Intern will also work with auditors during audit delivery, either by performing ad-hoc data analysis or developing shared audit analytic assets to automate common audit tests. This can range from simple data visualization report to more complex solutions involving Python and machine learning libraries.
The Intern (in collaboration with their supervisor) will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining analytics dashboards to facilitate monitoring of the Internal Audit function.
- Working closely with users to identify relevant use-cases and indicators to implement.
- Documenting developed analytics solutions.
- Ensuring that developed dashboards are user-friendly.
- Ensuring that all data is operationally accurate and appropriate throughout data management processes, including data collection, data transformation, data quality.
- Supporting the Data Analytics team in ad-hoc data projects, analysis and/-or trainings.

- Last year of Master’s degree in an Engineering School or University with a major in Data Analytics/-Business Intelligence.
- Looking for a 6-months internship starting March/April 2023.
**Basic qualifications**:
- Some experience in designing, developing and industrializing dashboards with Microsoft PowerBI.
- Ability to understand multiple data structures and sources to lead the development and implementation of business intelligence solutions.
- Ability to identify and implement innovative approaches to address business problems and solutions.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Clear written and spoken English and French.
**Preferred qualifications**:
- Some experience in designing user-friendly interfaces would be a plus.
- Some experience in Data Science (Natural Language Processing, Outlier Detection) using Python would be a plus.
