**Job Summary**
**Principle Duties and Responsibilities**
- Oversees the coordination of the bid process across the product lines to ensure the Inquiry to Order (ITO) activities occur on time and with high quality from proposal receipt to execution hand-over
- Ensure the teams’ proposal output is effectively managed, such as:
- Preparation and delivery of project proposal deliverables, including bid packages and detailed drawing packages in support of the commercial bid process for high value projects
- Review and evaluate bids, proposals, and vendor agreements in coordination with Supply Chain, Project Management and Manufacturing for acceptability of customer specifications, price, and delivery times
- Support development schedules and costs for each project proposal
- Facilitate review and evaluation of detailed technical specifications for equipment. Extract applicable client requirements and communicate specifications to subcontractors, sub-vendors and the internal organization
- Coordination with Project Management team to ensure seamless transition of won orders
- Shares responsibility with Sales Director to win deals and achieve company business goals.
- Has the ultimate responsibility to capture, register and manage risk in the ITO phase, yet maintain higher win rates and market share.
- Implement processes to ensure DOA compliance to deliver contracts that drive shareholder value
- Establish evidence based competitive pricing; leads pricing exercises to ensure competitiveness
- Manages the funnel of deals across each of the respective product lines
- Major contribution to the strategic plan of the CELEROS FT enterprise in the region
- Establishes workstreams to support speed of Aftermarket orders growth and tracks convertibility
- Develop technical competency matrix and work with Com Ops Leadership to implement training & development plans
- Oversees the proposal delivery to ensure that all significant risks are identified, communicated, and resolved prior to submitting quotes to customers and internally for approval, which include:
- Quotes meet targeted margin hurdles
- Production strategy requirements
- Lead Time and execution risk
- T&C’s, LD’s, warranty, and payment milestones meet requirements
- Uses Continuous Improvement tools and processes to improve proposal quality, reduce cycle time, and eliminate waste
- Deliver proposal metrics dashboards to measure regional KPI’s
- Performs people and performance management tasks for all direct reports.
- Develop and motivate the team
- Provides guidance and assistance to the team when required
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Awareness of the Nuclear Power market, dynamics, key stakeholders and customers.
- Knowledge and practice of opportunity development, quoting, negotiation, proposal, order award and hand over to Order Management.
- Established leadership skills, specifically an ability to influence without authority and experience of managing multiple product brands within a global team
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a variety of cross-functional team members and influence without authority
- Proven experience in tendering and proposals in an engineering context.
- Seasoned Change management skilled individual who has to ability to use various techniques to promote change in established groups
- Knowledge and practice of opportunity development, quoting, negotiation, proposal, order award and hand over to Order Management
- Identifying, securing, and assigning resources to deliver quotes within scope and timelines
- Ability to create and manage processes within proposal and bid management
- Ability to lead a team within a fast-paced environment
- Anticipating, identifying, assessing, and addressing potential or actual events and items that may impact positively or negatively on project delivery
- Reviewing and reporting on all aspects of tendering through the timely and accurate collection of data and dissemination of proposal information to stakeholders
- Managing the execution of contractual agreements with customers to ensure we are compliant
- Strong team player, results driven, customer focused
- Excellent communication, influence, and presentation skills
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and process documentation.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers

**Education and Experience**
- Bachelor's degree from college or university in an Engineering or related business discipline and significant relevant experience and/or training in an engineering environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience of rotating flow control equipment required
- Experience in Nuclear markets required
- Experience in both Original Equipment and Aftermarket tendering preferable
