**Job Description Summary**: The employee communications manager for the new nuclear P&L within Steam Power will be responsible for developing innovative approaches to employee communications that drive employee engagement and culture change. She/he will act as a strategic advisor to the business leaders to create and deliver strategic employee communication plans that align employees to the business goals/objectives and deliver business growth.

Il/elle agira en tant que conseiller stratégique auprès des dirigeants de l'entreprise afin de créer et de mettre en œuvre des plans stratégiques de communication avec les employés qui alignent les employés sur les buts/objectifs de l'entreprise et assurent sa croissance.

**Essential Responsibilities**

Develops strategic communication plans that build pride, promote culture change and drive business growth

Develops and deploys metrics that evaluate employee communications and recommends strategies for improvement

Ability to identify and implement contemporary employee communication tools

Strategic advisor for business leaders, ability to coach business leaders to improve communication skills

Partners with key functions like HR to develop and implement communications that drive culture change.

Partners with the leadership team to prepare communication materials targeted at employees

Strong storytelling capability, good writer/editor, ability to develop creative assets to aid in storytelling, including video

Develops and deploys metrics that evaluate employee communications and recommends strategies for improvement

Ensure alignment both within Steam Power and across the broader GE organization.

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s degree and 10 plus years of progressive communications experience

Deep expertise in digital media and an understanding of how to build and leverage new channels to enhance employee understanding and engagement

Ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Demonstrate strategic capability of core storytelling skills including outstanding writing ability

Outstanding skills in MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel

Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, influential communication

Experience coaching and advising senior leaders with the goal of improving their communication effectiveness

Advanced ability to manage multiple projects and/or teams simultaneously

Understanding of the nuclear sector globally

Experience with Lean methodologies helpful

Either fluent in English with strong ability to communicate in French, or fluence in French with strong ability to communicate in English

Demonstrated strong writing, editing and proofreading skills

Forte capacité à raconter des histoires, bon rédacteur/éditeur, capacité à développer des ressources créatives pour aider à raconter des histoires, y compris des vidéos.

Développe et déploie des mesures pour évaluer les communications avec les employés et recommande des stratégies d'amélioration.

Assurer l'alignement tant au sein de Steam Power que dans l'ensemble de l'organisation GE.
