**Position Description**
**Regional Security Director Investigations EMENA**
**Key areas of responsibility**:
In the region and under the lead of Head of Security EMENA and Global Security Director Investigations & Analyses support the delivery of security services for the protection of Volvo Group’s people, information, products and assets in the region. In the region functional support local security, conduct/support security investigations, and contribute to the development and delivery of Global Security strategy, programs and priorities and the response to incidents. To be a part of Global Security´s network where all support each other and act as a back-up for other regions when needed.**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver professional cross-divisional/cross-functional Global Security investigations throughout the assigned region.
- Drive proactive and reactive security initiatives across the region to protect Volvo Groups and JWs products, proprietary information and reputation; in order to preserve business innovation growth and productivity.
- Carry out investigations on internal and external security threats focused on Volvo Groups products.
- Mentor and advise business managers at all levels in the importance of reporting criminal activities related to Volvo Groups products and trademark.
- Prepare case files and referrals for the purpose of pursuing criminal cases, collaborating with law enforcement agencies throughout EMENA in support of prosecutions and disruptions of counterfeiters’ supply chains
- Identify and valuate threats, vulnerabilities and consequent risks to VG
- Develop and maintain security awareness, education and training including running seminars and workshops. Champion professional investigation training in Volvo Group and deliver training courses using the Group Security investigation-training syllabus.
- Develop and maintain effective relations with business management and develop security accountability and professionalism.
**Main job tasks**:
- Product Security
- Supporting the development of Volvo Group´s anti-illegal product programs.
- Conduct investigations of counterfeit, illegal diversion and product theft cases.
- Participate in external security working groups permanent and/or ad hoc.
- Raise the awareness of the risk counterfeit products possess to VG.
- Support VG strategy 2030 by securing product integrity.
- Protect VG´s reputation.
- The Incumbent will when needed carry out the same tasks as all Regional Security Directors.**Risk management**:
- Support the development and manage the implementation, and continuous refinement of security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance of security protocols.
- Establish a culture of security awareness and prevent security incidents.
- Play a central role from a security focus in the development and updating of the business continuity and business recovery plans.
- Establish and maintain intelligence networks and relationships regionally with law enforcement and other related government/intelligence agencies. Gather regional intelligence to understand, identify and address any threats against the company.
- Provide proactive leadership on emerging security issues and threats as warranted by current events and trends.
- Produce regular reports on security program operations, incidents, and compliance to the Group Security Officer, the Senior Security Director and regional business leadership.
- Oversee key outsourced security vendors to ensure delivery of high quality and cost effective services and products.
**Protective Services**:
- Establish security instructions, procedures and education.
- Conduct internal and external (towards VG) criminal investigations.
- Quality control of Volvo Group local security set up.
- Support and conduct site reviews of the security operations in the region.
- Support security site reviews, risk evaluations and sites annual risk assessment.
- Recommend security risk mitigation actions.
- Support the Executive Protection program.
- Roll out a program for “Users to understand the value and sensitivity of the information created, received, stored, shared and destroyed and the consequences of failing to protect it”.
**Crisis Management and Travel Security**:
- Implement a travel and event security program.
- Develop, establish and train personnel in local crisis response teams.
- Participate in external security working groups permanent and/or ad hoc.
- Secure immediate response and information to travelers in crisis emergency situations.
- Act as security adviser in the event of a crisis, in close cooperation with the local crisis management team.
**Personal qualifications and competencies**:
