**Job Description**:
The New York Times is looking for an intern to join the Advertising department based in Paris, for a duration of 6 months to start from March, with some flexibility on the start date.

As a Sales Planning Coordinator Intern, you will work in partnership with our International Advertising teams to provide pre-sale and post-sale service and ensure excellent customer care to NYT advertisers across all different sectors. This role will report to the Senior Sales Planner.

In this role you will primarily be responsible for supporting and assisting internal teams and providing quality service to NYT advertisers. You will work closely with the NYT Sales Planning and Sales teams to deliver strategic solutions to NYT advertisers that meet their goals. This internship is a great opportunity to become knowledgeable in many aspects of the sales planning and sales processes, and give you the opportunity to serve as a team liaison with advertising agencies and clients, as well as with internal groups.

The Sales Planning Coordinator Intern will be a vital and supportive resource across the NYT International Advertising department.

This is an exciting opportunity if you are interested in a cross-functional role working in a fast-paced, innovative, and collaborative environment

Main responsibilities

In this role you will support the Sales Planning and Sales Teams of the NYT International Advertising department: media planning for advertisers across all sectors, help in building 360° media proposals, day-to-day contacts with media agencies.

Print Tasks- Getting accounts aligned and set up for relevant platforms- Reserving international and US print products- Entering international and US print orders into the system- Handling the luxury print anniversary positions’ project- Producing print media plans

Digital Tasks:
- Submitting requests for NYT proprietary units’ builds- Creating sales collateral, like one-sheets and competitive decks- Producing digital media plans- Maintaining key performance indicator database- Working closely with Sales on a monthly media competitor and sector analysis

Other Tasks:
- Handling voucher requests- Pulling case studies/screenshots from the system- Resolving billing issues- Monitoring clients and agencies database- Ad tracking in the competing press titles- Fluent in English & French- Excellent Sales / Customer service skills- Computer literate (Power Point, Excel)- Self-motivated, autonomous, proactive, flexible- Great attention to detail and organized- Great team player- Education: Bac + 4 / Business school
