**About the Team**

The Financial Lines team in France is currently led by a Manager and is composed of 3 units:

- Major Accounts D&O: 4 Underwriters including a team leader
- Middle Market D&O: 4 Underwriters including a team leader
- FI Underwriters: 4 Underwriters including a team leader
- A trainee also supports the FL team.

**Purpose of the Role**

LSM is currently looking for the replacement of one Middle Market D&O Underwriter following the internal evolution of someone in the FI team. The primary responsibility of this role will be to underwrite business in accordance with the business plan and within delegated underwriting authority.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Underwriting of Directors & Officers Liability Insurance products: D&O, Commercial Crime, POSI, EPL, PTL, K&R, Cyber and blended cover such as Liberty Intégrale.
- Risk assessment and analysis of business-related data (balance sheet analysis, company analysis, creating risk reports)
- Production of offers (new business and renewal business); discussion and negotiation with brokers and customers
- Building up / maintaining of broker contacts
- Servicing of dedicated brokers/clients contacts and building up new broker contacts
- Business travels on occasion
- Adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements forms part of your role, and the demonstration of behaviours as set out in the Conduct Risk Policy, as they relate to your role, is core to LSM's commitment to our Liberty Values, placing customers at the centre of our business and behaving with integrity. **Skills and Experience**
- University degree in Economics, Law or equivalent
- Professional experience in the insurance industry (Financial Lines)
- Deep knowledge of Financial Lines’ product suite
- Highly reliable
- Analytical and economical thinking
- Strong service oriented, high level of self-motivation
- Excellent communication and team skills
- Native or fluent French + Working knowledge in English
- Good MS-Office skills
