**Job Description**:
or one of its as yet unannounced productions, Ubisoft is looking for a **C++ physics engine programmer (M/W/NB).**

Reporting to the Lead Engine Programmer, you will be responsible for developing the game's physics engine functionalities.

Your main tasks:

- Act as the project's main technical contact for all issues relating to the project's physics simulation
- Understand the existing physics middleware functionalities and propose improvements
- Collaborate with gameplay programmers, game designers and technical artists, gathering their needs to develop missing functionalities.
- Integrate, maintain and optimize the physics simulation in our game engine
- Provide debugging support for the game's physical simulation

**Qualifications**:

- You have 3 to 5 years' experience in engine programming for video games,
- You have good knowledge of the physical engines used in video games (Havok, PhysX, Chaos, Bullet, etc.),
- You have excellent knowledge of C++,
- You are comfortable with mathematics,
- You're comfortable working with a large code base,
- You are autonomous and proactive, and enjoy working in a team,
- You'd like to get involved in an innovative project with a strong concept.

Would be a plus:

- Experience with Unity or Unreal
