**Project Manager**
**Context**
The Pasteur Network brings together 33 public health research institutes located in 25 countries over 5 continents, mobilizing the services of several thousand researchers, engineers, and technicians. A vast scientific and human community, it actively participates in national and international programs covering research, public health, innovation and training / mobility programs.
The Pasteur Network is an Association (Loi 1901). Its governance has recently evolved to be more participative and representative of the current needs of its members. The Pasteur Network is working on increasing its visibility, developing ambitious collaborative scientific projects and strategic partnerships, and implementing a regional and global fundraising.
Reporting to the Executive Director of the Pasteur Network, the Project Manager plays a vital role in project planning, execution, and successful delivery within the Pasteur Network. The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating project activities and ensuring that projects align with the organization's objectives. The Project Manager proactively identifies potential risks and opportunities, monitors project progress, and implements strategies for efficient project management. The key responsibilities of the Project Manager include:
**Direct Support to the Executive Director**
- Manage the Executive Director's schedule, meetings, events, and travel arrangements.
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Director on project implementation and monitoring.
- Play an active role in the onboarding and integration of new Pasteur Network employees.
- Handle requests directed to the Executive Director.
- Follow up contracts with stakeholders and external service providers.
- Monitor project milestones and deliverables.
**Project Coordination (including Grant Management)**
- Assist in implementing change strategies as directed by the Executive Director
- Maintain and manage the SharePoint of the Pasteur Network for efficient document management, access control, and content recovery.
- Ensure business continuity and process optimization to enhance team productivity.
- Develop policies and procedures for efficient operation of the Pasteur Network.
- Support the Secretary-General in budget development, monitoring, and optimization including grant management.
- Oversee the management of institutional document directories and archives, emphasizing risk management and operational continuity.
- Participate to the organization of board of directors’ meetings, annual meetings and general assembly
- Coordinate monthly virtual meetings within the Pasteur Network
**Profile**
- A minimum Bachelor's degree, but masters preferred, with at least 3 years of experience in similar roles (assistantship, project management in a complex and highly international environment).
- Mandatory proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including SharePoint
