**About the Team & Role**:
Join us, and help to build for our next phase of growth in the Pre-Sales / Solutions Consulting arena, by leading our teams spanning across the EMEA region at Amplitude. We are looking to hire a commercially minded and impactful, yet humble and people driven, Director, Solutions Consulting for the EMEA business. In this role, you will take a hands-on approach in building and scaling your teams and ultimately be responsible for helping us to hire, onboard and manage the next wave of world-class Solution Consultants and SC leaders across EMEA.

**As Director, Solutions Consulting, EMEA, you will**:

- Be responsible for the EMEA regional SC strategy for organization structure design, hiring strategy and business objectives within the global strategy set by Global VP.
- Provide 2nd line management and mentorship for a team of Solution Consultants via the EMEA SC Management team across our entire business, including Enterprise and SMB.
- Refine and scale core solution consulting processes such as discovery, technical qualification, custom demonstrations, customer workshops and delivery of proof-of-concepts
- Foster collaboration between Solution Consulting (SC) managers and Sales leaders by providing guidance on sales strategy and common patterns for achieving the technical win.
- Monitor and further develop onboarding and continuing education programs for Solution Consults and SC Managers.
- Partner with product development/product management to document and communicate product feedback and product-related challenges from the field to drive change internally.
- Lead through change of a hyper growth company.
- Partner with sales leadership to develop account/business strategy.
- Partner with sales leadership in support of business selling motions. Activities will include high-level presentations, problem resolution, relationship development, and coordination of resource involvement with the top prospects within the region.
- Coordinate strategic development of resources within the region, including approval of training plans, career development planning, conducting regular reviews, coaching/counselling SC's for their professional growth.

**You'll be a great addition to the team if you have**:

- 10+ years of experience in the Pre-Sales arena, with a minimum of 3+ years in 2nd line leadership roles, with the essential experience of leading leaders and building and scaling diverse teams in EMEA.
- Industry experience in Big Data, Analytics, Mobile or MarTech space preferred.
- Proven track record with Data-driven execution and measurement of team performance.
- Outstanding experience public speaking and presenting to both technical and executive-level audiences.
- Capability to deliver clear and constructive feedback to those around you to help us all get better as a team.
- Excitement about our team's attitude towards constantly contributing new ideas, collaborating closely, and communicating openly.
- Experience working in a fast-growing environment and understanding of different cultural and working environments.
- Experience in coordinating large scale recruitment programs.
- Understanding of standard approaches to coaching, mentoring and management of individual contributors and managers.
- Ability to motivate and inspire a growing team of leading Pre-sales Solutions Consultants.
- Experience in Value Based Selling or Solution Selling.
- Fluency in English is essential, with any European languages being a bonus.
