Rights in the member States. Individuals can bring complaints of human rights violations to the Strasbourg Court once all

**Your role**

As a Czech or Slovak speaking Assistant, you will:
process judgments, minutes, decisions and other documents of the Court;
draft, format and finalise correspondence and other documents according to instructions;
and in other case-management tools;
handle and file mail and documents; keep electronic and paper files up-to-date;
assist lawyers in preliminary legal analysis of cases;
prepare and keep up-to-date lists and statistics related to cases;
answer telephone requests for information; receive and guide visitors and applicants;

**What we are looking for**

You must:
hold a completed full course of general secondary education and appropriate professional qualifications;
have at least two years’ experience of secretarial duties or equivalent administrative experience;
have an excellent knowledge of Czech or Slovak (mother tongue level); knowledge of the other language would be an

have a very good knowledge of one of the

**What we offer**

If successful, you may be offered employment based on an initial fixed-term period of at least one year, corresponding to

the probationary period, at grade B1/B2 depending on your previous professional experience. After successful completion of a

one-year probationary period, which may be extended if needed, the initial contract may be renewed one or several times for a

total duration of service not exceeding four years. A fixed-term appointment shall be converted into an open-ended appointment

In Strasbourg, you will receive a basic monthly gross salary of €3 027 (B1) or €3 449 (B2) which is exempt from national

income tax. Different salary scales are applied at our external offices according to the cost-of-living conditions. This salary may

be supplemented by other allowances depending on your personal situation and you will be affiliated to a

pension scheme. You will also benefit from private medical insurance, annual leave and other benefits (including flexible working

hours, training and development, possibility of teleworking, etc.).
