Our lab in Paris features the following four main research areas (Music, Language, Creativity and Sustainability), where every single project is both the expression of a unique research work and, at the same time, a joint walk-in diverse research topic where cross skills, approaches and interests did converge in a unique scenario.
Now, we need to strengthen our team with a new supporting figure for the Laboratory activities and management, with a 12-month temporary contract. Working in an international team, you will manage the invoicing, create new vendors, assist in the preparation of the financial reports, and contribute to the organization's efficiency and effectiveness. This position requires excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills, along with an understanding of accounting principles and practices.
You will:
- Manage purchases, invoicing (SAP, SRM, etc.) and contracts (consultants, grants, research agreements, etc.)
- Manage vendors’ data in the accounting system and follow the registration process;
- Support the management team in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Assist in preparing financial reports by gathering financial data and pay slips.
- Manage the premises (office supplies, daily management, etc.) and interact with the corporate Property & Facility team;
- Assist and support during visits and events, and welcoming guests and visitors;
- Interact daily with national and international Sony and external stakeholders.
You have:
- Proven experience in Accounting, Financial, Secretarial, and office management activities;
- High school diploma or higher education;
- Flexibility, passion, precision and quickness to adapt and act;
- Experience of work in dynamic and rapidly changing environments;
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) and French (written and spoken);
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills as well as communication and organization ones;
