**About the Property**:
It is a magnificent domaine of 3 hectares including 2 beautiful Villas of 1000 m2 and 700 m2 located in Saint Tropez. There are 11 bedrooms all in all. The Villa is facing the Mediterranean sea.

Every single room is unique, decorated and furnished with the best noble pieces of furnitures, art and decoration are everywhere within this fantastic house.

The property belongs to a French family. This is their second home. The owners and their children are extremely respectful and generous. They are very relaxed and chilled, very sporty but also used to very high standard in terms of cuisine and service generally speaking.

They visit the Villa from Mid June / Beginning July until Mid September, for a period of about 3 months.

It is usually just the parents and their children on the property, but they regularly have guests over as well, especially either for lunch or for dinner. Generally speaking, the owners invited guests for dinner - there are all in all 15 people to 24 people.

At any point, there would be a maximum of 8 people that you would be in-charge of cooking for.

You would be joining the team composed with The Villa Manager and the Head Housekeeper / Assistant Villa Manager. The villa will be hiring equally a housekeeper, a laundress and a Commis for the season. For your information, the previous Chef has been working with them for 3 consecutive seasons, staff is always very happy to work within this property.

**The project**:
We are looking for an experienced & High End Chef willing to take a seasonal contract, starting as an Extra position in April for several weekends and fully starting from beginning - mid May 2023 till September 05th, 2023 at least. (Almost 5 months)

There is also a possibility for you to start working under extras, if you are self employed for most of the weekends in April, May, until mid June and then starting fully as of Mid June, if you are not available from beginning May - mid May.

Owners are used to having a Chef who is passionate and skilled in preparing French cuisine, Italian cuisine and mediterranean cuisine. They fancy a simple but very tasty cuisine. They are used to giving large dinners with several guests. The maximum number of people including family and their guests would be 24 people.

Therefore, we are looking for a Chef who is used to deal with VIP clients but also who can handle big numbers for regular dinners during the months of July & August.

In this sense, you will need to be reactive to face guests eventual food restrictions or allergies, or specific diets. Also, we are looking for a Chef who is totally capable of being creative in order to suggest a different menu every evening.

We are NOT looking for gastronomic cuisine but he do want a gourmet style with attention given to presentation.

Food will be plattered, served on plates and NOT in big dishes for dinners.

The owners generally do not have luch in the Villa, this is quite rare. However, if they decide to have lunch in the Villa, they do NOT have dinner in the Villa.

Therefore, you will only prepare 2 meals per day including breakfast and dinner or very rarely breakfast and lunch.

Regarding breakfast, the ozners generally enjoy a simple but full continental breakfast with eggs, omelets, etc...

As a Chef, you will be fully in charge of the food provisionning and you will have the possibility of getting all the food delivered to the Villa if you wish, this is generally what the Villa does.

You will also have a Commis Chef working with you and helping you with all the cleaning, the dishes, pealing all the vegetables, ect..

You will be in charge of the Commis in your kitchen.

**Cuisine**:
You would be in charge of preparing Breakfast & Dinner for the guests. You will not need to do service as the Villa Manager and the Head Housekeeper are in charge of setting the table, doing all the service and clearing the table. They are used to prepare a beautiful table every evening.

For Dinner, there is always 3 courses such as Starter / Main Course / Desert.

You would be preparing contemporary French, Mediterranean & Italian cuisine.
Presentation of your dishes is extremely important in addition to the taste.

The more creative you are, the happier the owners and their guests are going to be.

New ideas and variety in your cuisine is essential to this role and to the owners. We are looking for a Chef who will want to please the owners by serving them various dishes from one week to another.
