- The MATERI'ACT provide _**_sustainable materials_**_ amongst all Faurecia Business Groups and to be one of the major contributors to Faurecia CO2 Reduction Roadmap accordingly to Paris agreement._
- SMD is _**_all new_**_ and is a fast-growing division and aim to reach 120 employees by the end of 2023._

**Essential responsibilities and duties**:
By connecting supply and market demand, the primary responsibility of the Foils P/L Director consists in **driving the definition and the implementation of the Product Line strategy**, combining the development of new partners, the asset, the product management and the marketing pillars. He/She will maximize cash, profits and revenues of the newly formed MATERI'ACT Division. The incumbent will operate in constant interactions with the crossfunctional MATERI'ACT Management committee members and be the voice of the Foils P/L in this forum. Acting as the business owner, he/she will impact the MATERI'ACT profitability by defining the most valuable strategic priorities while ensuring the appropriate tactics are smoothly executed.

**Main mission of the role**:
In this position, you will:

- Lead P/L Steering committee to align all functions (sales, marketing, supply chain, operations, R&D/Engineering) to deliver business results
- Accountable for the global optimization of the product mix and the growth of the assest footprint
- Foster new external partnerships to maximize profitability on the mulitple time horizons
- Own the marketing strategy for the selected P/L
- Drive maximum utilization of the manufacturing capabilities in coordination with SC/Operations Director
- Support the information collection and direction setting on market fundamentals, pricing tactics, and supply demand on a regular basis to set direction and gain alignment with the commercial organization
- Sponsor P/L Innovation upon guidance of regional P/L Managers
- Represent SMD Foils at key industry events and networks (trade associations, conferences, )
- Deliver business plan commitments for the selected P/L
- Lead opportunity assessment, prioritization, and business case investment justification. including partnering with purchasing, external manufacturing and engineering on asset strategy/investments enabling growth/expansions/optimization
- Participate in SMD Management Committee and other leadership teams
- Act the voice of the P/L in the Sales & Operations Planning routines
- Lead the team of P/L and Marketing Managers

**Required qualifications**
- Master's Degree: Engineer, Chemistry, Marketing, Business or Economics
- Minimum 10 years of prior experience in combination of Sales, Marketing or Product management roles in industry, ideally in Automotive or Foils sector
- Fluent in English
- Ability to travel around 30% of time
