We are seeking a skilled and energetic individual to join our global marketing team as Marketing Manager for Southern Europe in the field of cybersecurity, with a focus on France, Italy and Spain.

This is the first dedicated marketing position focused on these countries and is a unique opportunity to join a business with an ambitious vision and make a positive impact on growth in the region.

In this role, you will work closely with colleagues in marketing, business development and sales to drive awareness of Mimecast and implement targeted demand generation activities to generate a pipeline of new business opportunities.

We are looking for a creative and dependable marketer who has proven experience working closely with sales, channel, marketing colleagues and BDRs to deliver programs that create two-way interactions with influencers and decision makers. You are an enthusiastic team player, who is passionate about effective marketing that delivers positive measurable results.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- In close collaboration with marketing and sales colleagues, develop and deliver the marketing plans for France, Italy and Spain for both Mimecast-led activity and co-op marketing through our partners
- Work closely with our distribution and reseller partners to develop co-op marketing plans
- Engage proactively with sales teams to understand objectives and develop quarterly demand generation plans to deliver pipeline goals.
- Customise suitable global programs and assets for local deployment, overseeing the localisation process
- Engage proactively with global and regional marketing teams to review plans, share local requirements, and provide feedback on global programs and assets
- Research, choose, design, and manage live events to be included in the overall marketing mix, ensuring a cohesive pre-event, at-event, and post-event strategy to increase engagement and response rates
- Engage regularly with BDR (business development representative) leaders and teams to gauge the volume and effectiveness of inbound leads and optimise accordingly
- Work closely with our PR agency to ensure impactful engagement with influential media, with relevant themes that complement our overall message
- Communicate regularly with sales teams to ensure awareness and support for planned marketing activities, including global, regional, and local programs

What You’ll Bring:

- Fluency in French (native speaker level) and English. Proficiency in Italian and/or Spanish is advantageous.
- A strong understanding of and experience in demand generation activities, both direct and through the channel
- Experience working with sales leaders to understand the needs of the sales and channel teams, and meet those needs through effective partnership, marketing program planning, and execution
- Self-motivated, energetic strong team player with a results-driven approach
- Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong experience of MarTech and CRM systems (e.g. Demandbase, Salesforce, Marketo)
