The Role and What You’ll Do:
To lead the planning, procurement, and delivery of all venue transport operations, (including all competition venues, accommodations, ports of entry, restaurant & leisure facilities, and ceremonies venues), of the Olympic Global Hospitality programme.

To develop and exercise robust commercial arrangements for the discharge of client transport plans.

Ensure a high level of coordination and integration with all stakeholders including the IOC, OCOG Transport team and local authorities.

The role will work closely with colleagues across the Olympic Global Hospitality programme to ensure venue transport operations meet the service level requirements of all supported client groups.

To build and lead the Venue Transport Operations planning and delivery team.

Programme Management: Create and proactively manage venue transport operations budget, strategic risk register, and project plan.

Concept of Operations: Identify a strategic delivery model for venue transport operations and articulate this in a Concept of Operations that sets out, WHAT services will be provided.

Reconnaissance: Undertake site visits to all venue transport locations & create venue information planning packs for all venues.

Venue Transport Operations Plan: Develop detailed venue operations plans to identify HOW transport services will be delivered and articulate these plans in a Venue Transport Operations Plan (V-TOP) for all destinations on the Olympic Global Hospitality programme including (but not limited to):

- All competition venues
- Ports of Entry
- Accommodation sites
- Ceremonies & Special Events
- Restaurants, leisure facilities

Ensure the V-TOP is fully integrated with Olympic Global Hospitality B-TOP & F-TOP and the OCOG’s venue operational plans.

Parking: assess vehicle parking & staging requirements across all games venues.

Vehicle Access and Parking Permit Scheme (VAPPS): Capture VAPP requirements for all Olympic Global Hospitality programme transport operations. Secure requisite numbers & types of VAPPs from the OCOG’s transport team.

Staffing: Develop a venue transport organisational structure, schedules and roisters. Identify and procure venue transport staffing solutions.

Health and Safety: Working with On Location’s H&S lead, ensure venue transport operations are safe and complaint with local legislation.

Training: Create and implement a comprehensive staff training programme.

Testing & Readiness: Create and implement a comprehensive testing and readiness programme prior to operational ‘go-live’

Efficiency: Drive efficiencies, and cost saving measures throughout the planning process to ensure the supply chain delivers maximum value for money.

Operational Leadership: Provide strategic operational leadership during the delivery of transport operations during the Olympic Games.

**Responsibilities**:
Leadership and programme management of venue transport operations activities with internal and external partners & supply chain to ensure comprehensive solutions that are fully integrated with wider transport operations planning.

Liaise with programme and project managers within On Location and external partners to deliver appropriate governance and integration.

As part of the Transport & Logistics team, provide high quality and responsive advice, information, support, and intelligence service on relevant aspects of the Olympic Global Hospitality programme.

Contribute to the ongoing development of the wider Olympic Global Hospitality plan and work programmes, participating actively in directorate team meetings and promote and market the full directorate portfolio where
