Your objective in this internship is to propose a code for the Standardization of Alstom product component descriptions using the state of the art Natural Language Processing technics. You will do this by working with the AI business team within the Engineering department which assess, proposes solutions and leads the development of AI solutions for the Engineering.
your role will be to:
- analyze the data that will be made available to you and build KPIs that clearly show the composition of the data.
- produce a synthesis of the publications providing a solution to the problem proposed
- test the most promising codes and compare the results
- to produce an end-to-end code allowing the standardization of all designations of components of Alstom products towards unique designations
- set up KPIs showing the levels of precision achieved
- the code will be in Python
- the working environment can be MS Azure or Dataiku
- depending on the bibliographic research, the techniques that may be used are: transformer model, Large Language Models (GPT, Bloom, etc.), fine tuning of models, LTSM, topic modeling, summarization, clustering, Lingustic libraries (Spacy, RegEx, nltk...)
Education
- 5th year of an AI engineering cycle
**Skills**:
- very good knowledge of NLP models
- successful achievements in the areas listed here above
- ease in python, inference and fine tuning of language models
- written and spoken English and French

- 4 to 6 months
