The Field Marketing team is responsible for all marketing campaigns supporting our sales team in different regions. You would be responsible for the US market.

As a successful Field Marketing Manager, you have a substantial understanding of marketing as well as our audiences of enterprise cybersecurity leaders, and developers. You enjoy taking charge of marketing programs, detailed planning, proactive communication, and flawlessly delivering memorable marketing experiences that support our sales goals.

**Context**
- GitGuardian is a code security solution for Software Development and Ops teams, Application Security, Threat Response, and CISOs - a technical audience.
- Events are an important part of GitGuardian’s marketing mix today, and one of the top contributor to pipeline building for the Sales Team
- A majority of GitGuardian customers are in the USA, therefore your role will be essential to achieving our ambitious growth targets.

**The existing team**

You will report to Orian, Head of Growth, and work closely with Oscar, Field Marketer. You will also have a key relationship with US-based Sales, and work with Ops, Content, and Growth profiles.

**Missions**
- Establish the calendar of GitGuardian’s presence at industry events & tradeshows in the US, such as BlackHat and RSA, but also the planning of GitGuardian’s owned events
- Benchmark events constantly so we have the best coverage and ROI
- Conduct discovery calls to confirm their relevance
- Negotiate packages with vendors
- US event and campaign strategy, decision-making, and onsite management.
- Develop and implement guidelines, protocols and playbooks for field events
- Coordinate with the Demand Generation and Sales team to design campaigns before and after the events to maximize attendance with Hubspot, Crowdcast, or Customer.io.
- Ensure all events and marketing campaigns are delivered on time and within budget. Measure and report on their effectiveness with the help of the Operations team.
- Support Channel and Partnership activities from approval of the campaign through execution.
- Adapt some marketing campaigns to the needs of the US market.
- Travel to events the US on average once a month to meet our prospects and community

**More about you**:

- You are based in the US
- 3+ years of B2B marketing experience in a demand-gen team or in a regional marketing role, preferably in the tech/SaaS industry.
- Project management and attention to detail: able to set priorities, handle multiple projects and follow through on deadlines. Your Asana board is a zen garden
- Communication skills: you know how to share information effectively and obtain feedback from a busy team (Sales) with empathy.
- You enjoy an international context
- Knowing how to use a CRM (Hubspot) or Marketing Automation Platform (Customer.io) is a plus
- Having a GitHub account, or knowing how to address developers, hackers or DevOps people is also a plus
