The primary mission of the Customer Communication Manager is to contribute through the development of relevant communications collaterals to support Customer Communications & Business with tendering activities.
Once in this role, you will contribute with strategic communications actions in order to ensure a consistent customer & tender communications; develop and coordinate customer & tender communications tools in close cooperation with internal & external stakeholders and be the interface for the Digital Platform.
The Customer Communication Manager reports hierarchically to the Tender Communications Director.
**Purpose of the job**:
- Manage the Customer Newsletter Project
- Contribute to the Tender Communication activities through development of relevant communication collaterals to support Business Rank 1 tendering activities.
- Be proactive with strategic communication actions in order to ensure a consistent tender communication
- Develop and coordinate tender communication tools in close cooperation with internal & external stakeholders Be the interface for the Digital Platform.
**Main responsibilities**:
- **Customer Newsletter**
- Manage the Customer Newsletter project.
- Define the editorial strategy and key messages.
- Propose appropriate format and channels.
- **Tender communication**
- Be proactive and propose impactful communication strategy actions with Tender Team on rank 1 tenders
- Identify for each tender the value proposition to make differentiation (and if needed - provide support to other tender coms persons)
- Contribute to the storytelling framework and feed key messages to drive the project team efficiently (collective work with Business & local coms)
- Establishes specifications, briefs the agencies and drives the work with them
- Implements and ensures the follow-up of tender communication actions in cooperation with central and country communication
- Produces communication tools (videos, executive summary, design book, Digital Platform,...) with central and country communication and ensures validation by the appropriate stakeholders
- Coordinates with internal stakeholders (project, sales and management teams, Passenger experience team, A&CD, Regional Coms) and with external stakeholders (coms agencies, consortium partners) to pursue tender Coms awareness and visibility, facilitate better cooperation and optimize ways of working together
- Manages budgets and planning in line with tender requirements
- Participate to specific communication plan at pre-tendering phase, business development phase, in close coordination with the country/cluster communication director/manager and the central communication teams
- Supports country communication Director/Manager on rank 2 tenders thanks to close cooperation and support to establish the right governance : regular meetings (process, REX, best practices, regular feedback ), templates, workshops
- Be accountable for tender communication within the constraints of the budget (the amount of the budget depends on each tender)
- **Transversal mission : International coordination**
- Properly cascades information and processes related to international coordination (admin, budget, coms plans, transversal topics & campaigns) to Region & Country/cluster communicators
- Collects bottom-up information from the countries
**Competencies & Skills**
- Be a real “storyteller” or a journalist background in order to be able to support the tender team to define and highlight the impactful and meaningful value proposition and key benefits
- Able to interact and communicate courteously and professionally, both orally and in writing among all levels in the organization
- Be comfortable to work in matrix organization
- Able to work on Project Management mode
- Excellent in English
- High reactivity, proactivity and adaptability,
- Very well organized with high level of anticipation, very patient, resilient and flexible
