**What are your missions**:
- You will be reporting to the Regional Accounting Manager and will be assisting with the accounting of our French, Belgium and Swiss subsidiaries. Your responsibilities will be (and not limited to):
- Month end reporting:
- Manage monthly close and liaise with business to obtain information
- Book month end entries, including Payroll
- Prepare balance sheet and P&L analysis
- Prepare information to be sent to the US parent company for consolidation within deadlines
- Taxes
- Prepare the information for the local VAT returns and other local taxes
- Prepare all documents for local CPA
- Pay all taxes in a timely manner
- Annual audit/Financial statements for France, Switzerland and Belgium:
- Prepare all the information to be sent to the local external auditors or accounting firms
- Liaise with the firms, ensuring questions are answered in a timely manner
- SOX/Compliance : provide information to external and internal auditors when requested
- Find automation and improvement opportunities in the accounting system (Workday)
- Ad-hoc projects
***Who you are**:
**Skills**:
- Master degree in accounting, control, audit / Diploma in Accounting and Management / University degree or a Business School completed by training or option accounting-finance.
- At least 5 years experience in an accounting role
- Previous experience in an accounting or audit firm strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of French GAAP and French tax rules (Swiss and Belgian accounting standards, IFRS and US GAAP a plus)
- Proficient in English
- Proficient in MS Excel and large ERP systems (Workday Financials a plus)
- Experience working in an international environment, in a group with many foreign subsidiaries
