Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, a quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- French accounting certification (e.g., DCG, DSCG, or MSTCF).

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience from an accounting practice and/or public multinational high-tech companies and with process and strategic improvements.
- Ability to handle a varied and diverse workload, while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, high degree of attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous process improvement.
- Experience with SAP ERP system.
- Ability to effectively operate with flexibility in a fast-moving and constantly evolving team environment.
- Team player who demonstrates a drive for results, shows leadership, and possesses excellent people, verbal, and written communication skills.

**About the job**:
Google accountants are a savvy bunch who handle the core accounting responsibilities at Google. You know your accounting principles and the full accounting process end to end. You'll advise on financial reports required by governmental regulations, and review, analyze, and interpret financial and budgetary reports. In this role, you will work within the Google Cloud Controllership which oversees financial statement reporting, accounting for business growth agreements, business compliance, and business launch support for EMEA’s growing Google Cloud business. You will have the opportunity to support one of Google’s growing businesses. You'll support the growing portfolio of Google Cloud companies in EMEA, and support the expansion of Google Cloud products and infrastructure in the region to enable the long-term growth and success of the business.

From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Be responsible and oversee the financial and tax compliance for a portfolio of Google Cloud companies in EMEA.
- Design, develop, and present periodic reporting and financial analyses to executive management ensuring the integrity of the financials.
- Ensure appropriate controls and governance structures are established and operating effectively.
- Support and drive initiatives and projects across International Controllership, representing Google Cloud.
- Partner with Tax, Finance, Legal, and Business teams as well as external advisors on future country and product launches for Google Cloud across the region.
