The EMEA online assistant manager will support the EMEA online manager & the regional director to drive the online business, in particular brand sites, in the region for Aveda.
He/she will be working directly with the Online Manager for Aveda. The role is based in London at One Fitzroy Place where the assistant manager will support in developing and implementing the online strategy across the region as well as working with the Global teams based in New York and Minneapolis.
He/she will be supporting the EU HUB brand sites development and daily performance with back office management, CRM marketing campaigns, products activations, e-merchandising, content management, offer codes creation & QA.
- Support the online manager in the creation, development and execution of the activity of the pan-European hub site Aveda.eu and the regional online marketing plan for the local brand sites to drive the overall net sales objective, site database increase, and site traffic increase
- Responsible for executing the overall marketing activities on Aveda.eu, including the calendar of activities, the site refreshes, in collaboration with the affiliates, the regional digital agencies, the regional tech team and the translation agency
- Support the online manager in ensuring e-merchandising & trade activities are implemented across all markets
- Forecast and Supply follow up together with brand team, supply chain lead, demand planning lead & affiliates (spot too low forecast, excess, OOS etc), propose activation plan when needed
- Support the online manager rolling out features & enhancements across markets
- Help compile information for brand manager, marketing GTM and monthly online presentations and roundtables
- Support online manager & affiliates on already launched retailers, pure players and e-salons with asset and content needs
- Help affiliates to build brand boutique, provide product information, assets & guidelines
- Support launch of new e-retailers/pure players and provide on-going guidance and support building e-retailers/OPP launch/expansion plan + always on activities together with online manager & brand team
**Benchmark & best practices (10% of the time)**
- Help gather best practices from all the affiliates on all brands and benchmark Aveda competitor’s brands visibility & activities to share with other brand team and affiliates (e.g. haircare competitors like Kerastase & Olaplex)
- Support features roll out or specific projects across all ELC brands under request of the E-commerce Director (Bambuser)
- Other ad-hoc & time limited projects (ex. Switch of agencies, New feature roll out Pilot..)
**Qualifications**
- Practical e-commerce platforms knowledge and interest in becoming an online expert.
- Able to work with engineers in an agile mode.
- Able to work with graphic designers and work with Photoshop.
- Data driven, organized and prioritization proven skill sets.
- Commercially forward thinking and attentive to details.
- International exposure. Able to work with cross-functional, multicultural and geographically dispersed teams.
- Very pro-active and have the agility to be re-active when necessary.
- Able to work in both highly complex and matrix organizations.
