We are looking for a work-study **HSE Assistant (F/M)**, for a 1 or 2 year **apprenticeship **contract.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Management of HSE management systems**:

- Implements and maintains effective health, safety and environmental management systems, such as ISO 14001 for the environment and OHSAS 18001 for occupational health and safety.
- Regulatory compliance: Ensuring the plant complies with regulations and standards relating to health, safety and local, national and international environmental regulations, such as laws on the management of electronic waste, air emission standards and regulations on the use of hazardous substances.
- Keeping a regulatory watch
- Risk monitoring and assessment: identifies and assesses health, safety and environmental risks throughout the company. This may include workplace risk assessments, environmental audits, etc.
- Conducting field audits and following up audit results
- Analysis of work-related accidents
- Implements procedures to respond to incidents, accidents or emergency situations, and coordinates the necessary actions to minimise risks to employees and the environment.
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in health, safety and the environment and proposing initiatives to proactively reduce the plant's environmental impact.Support our sales on exhibitions when needed

**Annual extra-financial reporting**:

- Ensure the collection and recording of data used to prepare the non-financial report on the areas mentioned below.
- Alerting in the event of drift on one or more KPIs that could lead to deviations from the reduction targets defined as part of the Group's CSRD roadmap.

**Communication and Relations with Parties**:

- Communicates with employees, managers, regulatory authorities and other stakeholders on health, safety and environmental issues, and represents the company at meetings and inspections.

**Training and Awareness**:

- Training staff on health, safety and environmental issues, and raising awareness of good practice and current regulations.

**Environment sector**:
Following actions should be implemented in collaboration with the site managers and the process and quality managers at each plant:

- Waste management: implement electronic waste management procedures, including the collection, recycling and appropriate disposal of waste, ensuring that the plant reduces its environmental footprint as much as possible.
- Reducing energy consumption: identifying and implementing measures to reduce the plant's energy consumption, such as installing energy-efficient equipment, optimising production processes and raising employee awareness of the importance of energy efficiency.
- Water management: monitor and manage the plant's water consumption, identifying opportunities for water savings and implementing measures to reduce consumption and minimise the discharge of contaminated water.
- Environmental monitoring and reporting: set up an environmental monitoring system to track the plant's environmental performance, producing regular reports on emissions, water consumption, waste management, etc.

**PROFILE**
- Excellent communication skills and diplomacy (clear, respectful, readable, efficient)
- Flexibility, ability to adapt to changing circumstances and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Language skills: fluent in French & English
