We are hiring our Rolling Stock Train Validation Director. A Director position within the Rolling Stock Engineering team, where you will manage the Product Line's Train Validation team, and you will be in charge of the definition of the processes and their deployment on sites and on projects. You will also ensure the development and implementation of the Métiers processes on Rolling Stock products for all tenders, projects and range programs managed by the sites taking into account the policy defined at Group level. In this role, you will be expected to define and deploy the standard solutions related to his métier, in consistency with the process deliverables and technical policy.

This is a key and highly visible role in Alstom’s Rolling Stock Engineering organization, reporting to Christophe Moreau, the Engineering Director of Rolling Stock.

You will be concretely responsible for:

- Defining, deploying and improving continuously the processes
- Manage and animate the Train Validation Network
- Deploy Train Validation standard solution in collaboration with other Engineering Métiers
- Dedicate support of Train Validation process deployment on emerging site
- Define and deliver RSC Train Validation training program

The profile we are looking for:

- Graduated from Engineering school or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of successful experience as a Site/Entity Métier Manager within different industries (Aerospace, Defense, Space, Military, Nuclear, Chemical) incl. railways
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the Railway business
- Significant experience of international projects
- Successful experience in managing teams

- Deep knowledge of train validation and test execution
- Experience in implementing successful technical solution improving product cost and performance
- knowledge of the Rolling Stock Products
