**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** |** **About the role**

We are seeking an experienced M&A Manager to spearhead our diverse M&A initiatives. In this leadership role, you will be orchestrating projects from their nascent stage right through to the final handshake and beyond, into successful integration. Your expertise in steering complex transactions, your adeptness at navigating the intricacies of both investment banking and corporate M&A, and your knack for fostering strong stakeholder relationships will be the cornerstone of our M&A strategy. This role will report to M&A Director

**As the **M&A Manager, you will**:

- Orchestrate the M&A project lifecycle from initiation to deal closure and subsequent integration.
- Lead the drafting and negotiation of initial offers and legal agreements in partnership with the legal team.
- Direct due diligence, aligning cross-functional teams to ensure thorough evaluation and risk assessment.
- Develop and negotiate strategic business plans and legal contracts, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
- Facilitate collaboration across departments to guarantee the smooth advancement and completion of M&A activities.
- Oversee post-acquisition integration, focusing on critical milestones and operational efficiency within the first 100 days.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE** |** **About you**

**The ideal **M&A Manager**
- Demonstrated capacity to manage complex projects with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
- A career history that includes significant experience within investment banking or a corporate M&A environment.
- A substantial track record, with 6 to 8 years of experience in M&A transactions across various types of deal size, particularly mid-cap.
- A diverse background blending both investment banking and corporate settings, with IT and cybersecurity experience seen as a bonus.
- Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills, coupled with proficiency in crafting impactful presentations and managing deals end-to-end.
- Exceptional interpersonal abilities to build and maintain relationships across all organizational levels, with fluency in English and French language skills.
