- Cristóbal Balenciaga founded the House in 1917 in his home of Spain. In 1937, he established the brand in Paris, designing its collections there until 1968. Cristóbal Balenciaga had a reputation as a couturier of uncompromising standards and was referred to as "the master of us all" by Christian Dior and as “The Couturier of the Couturiers” by Gabrielle Chanel. The ultra-modern shapes were trademarks of the house.
- While the brand’s identity is firmly rooted in its highly conceptual prêt-à-porter collections, its leather goods, footwear, and accessories experience worldwide success as well. Among the archetypal products of the House are its handbag collections. A new focus on the development of Balenciaga ready-to-wear collections for men was quickly established as highly successful.
- Since October 2015, Demna has designed both men’s and women’s collections as the artistic director.
- The Balenciaga House, part of the Kering group since 2001, is one of the most influential names in fashion.- Job Description- Global Client Engagement & Insights Intern:
- Your opportunity:
- Within the Global Client Engagement department, reporting to the Global 360 Client Engagement Manager, the intern will aim to support the 360 Client Engagement and Data & Insights Global teams with the following main missions:
- Your responsabilities:
- Client Engagement:
- Assisting the Global 360 Client Engagement team in organizing and planning retail events / gifting menu.
- Collaborate with Regional Client Engagement teams to assist and help in the Retail activation and gifting strategy implementation.
- Support the Client Engagement Team in Clienteling actions and initiatives as well as follow up on local execution.
- Collect competitors benchmark and share best practices
- Client Insights:
- Assist Global client insights team to produce insights analysis for other departments/Regions
- Collaborate with Kering to Improve customer data quality
- Assist Global client insights team to improve Data consistency
- Collaborate Global client insights team to develop new clients reports/KPIs
- You are:
- Reactive, rigorous and creative
- Well organized and flexible, able to deal with last minute requests
- Project management skill
- Good understanding of client centric experience and strategy
- Business oriented and you are at ease in the processing of databases and data analysis
- Nice to have a good understanding of luxury industry
- Powerpoint & Excel advanced computer skills
- Fluent in English
