**Job Description**:
- You will support the growth and development of DBJ & DBFM EMEA by delivering management control systems, to supervise performance against agreed budgets and operational business support to the President EMEA DBJ & DBFM. You will act as a business partner by providing value-added analysis to facilitate business decisions. As well as evaluate the standards of business risks management to ensure corporate governance practices and a balanced risks & control environment promoted throughout the organisation.
Business Partner
- To be a strong partner to the President EMEA DBJ & DBFM in the day to day operational and performance management support
- Act as guardian of sales plan objectives to monitoring closely the operational expenses versus the authorized budgets and sales performance
- Ensuring that business decisions are taken with consideration for the best possible return on investment. This includes preparing payback calculations for projects including CAPEX
- Empower the retail staff with knowledge to improve their KPI’s
Management Control System
- To supervise the implementation of all controls in EMEA (retail procedures)
- To ensure security environments well set up, which include security company contracts and arrangement; for both normal business hours and special situations (such events)
- CCTV & security alarm management
- To work alongside Finance teams to ensure safeguarding of inventory by organizing weekly/monthly/quarterly inventory counts as required
- To coordinate the control and the follow-up of the stock discrepancies
- Retail manual: ensure the retail team respects all guidelines
- To partake in external and internal control audits and manage the subsequent outcome/to do list
- To assist with the submission of budgets, revisions and stat plans, for Sales, CAPEX and FTE
- To maintain control of lease agreements, insurance policies, outsourced service professional contracts
Human Resources
- Sales commission calculations
- To work closely with Regional HR teams for any HR related issues
Store network
- Prepare business analysis and reports, regular or upon request of the EMEA President DBJ and DBFM
- Able to provide discount guidance allowance up to a certain level for the stores
- Ensure the smooth day to day running of stores and any regional offices
- Oversee all store new openings, closures, relocations and refurbishments
- Support the store directors with any operational, maintenance or personnel issues
- Work closely with other departments on the implementation of new systems into the stores, to ensure any and all requirements are fulfilled
- Develop and implement improved procedures and methods of working
- Provide support and guidance to regional office teams
- Along with the President EMEA DBJ & DBFM, monitor the operational excellence of the stores in line with the corporate targets (for example: KPIs follow up, express training needs, monitor and solve inventory issues)
- Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and understanding the operation requirements in industry; experience in luxury retail
- Bachelor Degree
- Project management
- Knowledge of retail operations
- Microsoft office (e.g. Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- French and English speaking
- Availability to travel - particularly frequently between Paris and London
- SAP experience is a plus
- Experience with retail systems a plus
