**Your playground**

Reporting to the Sales entity for the vertical markets of the Smart Infrastructure division, you will develop a global vision of our solutions and products by leading a technical prescription and proactive upstream support to our customers and stakeholders of the targeted projects or markets.

As a specialist in industrial or infrastructure projects, you will be familiar with the high voltage and low voltage sectors, and ideally have knowledge of digital solutions.

During the initial phases of a project, dimensional decisions are made by consultants and design offices regarding the choice of technologies and solutions. It is these stakeholders that you take responsibility for and advise.

Your role in our business is essential. Through your knowledge acquired upstream of projects, your proposals for optimised solutions and relevant prescriptions for our clients will have a major impact on the efficiency of the sales teams in the tender preparation phase.

As such, your main responsibilities are:
Leading and proactively coordinating the technical prescription at national level on our vertical markets and target projects/clients, working closely with the sales teams and Business Units (solutions frequently involving several Business Units).

Your missions with regard to our customers:

- Assist electrical designers (engineering companies, design offices) and technical stakeholders to better value Siemens solutions (retention)
- Provide regular support to our customers during the planning stages (technical design of electrical systems, drafting of technical specifications, adjustment notes, price lists with indication of quantities and overall budgets)
- Promote the development of our clients' skills in our portfolio
- Identify upstream commercial opportunities
- Initiate partnership agreements in coordination with the sales department and distribution channels

You are the driving force behind the operational implementation of the prescription with method, strategy and a focus on results. You will be a true internal conductor for:

- The internal technical coordination of pre-acquisition and promotional activities, both project-specific and between sales regions
- Leading regular meetings with sales managers and regions to discuss actions and progress on target projects
- Coordinating with the sales network in vertical markets or in the regions to increase the number of prescriptions and align the project approach strategy

**Why you should connect with us**
- You have an engineering background,
- At least 5 years' experience as a technical consultant or design office on complex industrial or infrastructure projects, with a good knowledge of high and low voltage power systems, and ideally of digital solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of the energy sector (technical and economic factors, players, trends),
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical system design: drafting of specifications, ability to analyse the advantages/disadvantages of solutions including the economic aspect, use of sizing tools, selectivity studies and calculations of electrical systems, ability to establish preliminary budgets.
- IT knowledge related to digitalisation (associated services, new uses),
- Project knowledge: project management and claim management skills with a strong technical background
- Excellent written and spoken English (fluent or bilingual) for good collaboration with our international clients and the head office in Germany and Business Units.
- Result-oriented and proactive,
- Networking skills, able to establish long-lasting relationships based on trust,
- Oral fluency, dynamism, autonomy.
