**Global Logistics Director** (M/F/X)

To support the business growth of Sephora, our Global Supply Chain team is growing Working closely with the regional Logistic leaders, the Global Logistics Director reports to the Global VP Supply Chain and is responsible for the overall performance of our logistic network, both warehousing and freight, both Retail and eCom, inbound and outbound.
The role oversees the overall logistic function, including the design of the strategy, the elevation of the overall performance and the support to the regions in the key decisions to be made. That covers the Network design, the RFPs and the award of the 3PLs, the Distribution Centers’ footprint, the Business continuity plans (BCP), the automation & mechanization initiatives, the safety and security and any other areas where synergies and support are required. The role leads the partnership with our key 3PLs and partners, at global level.
It includes also an influential role in the deployment of our CSR strategy, both in the protection of the environment and in the DE&I field.
He/she will lead functionally the logistic and CSR community in Supply Chain (35 markets, 35 DCs, high opex).
**You will excel and enjoy this position if you are ready to actively handle the following missions**:
- Guarantee that Logistics capacities match with Sephora growth
- Ensure that Cost saving plans are in place, and follows continuous improvement
- Support key logistics projects: Network Design, RFP, extension, move,
- Appreciate the relevance of the major logistic investments
- Core modelize the RFP guidelines and the common KPIs
- Implement the Global Logistics score card
- Scout the market and bring innovation whenever and wherever relevant
- Implement best practices sharing and animate the logistic communities
- Design and implement the Sephora Logistics center of excellence
- Permanently assess the skills of the teams and contribute to the training plans
- Qualify the BCP status, highlight the risks and make relevant recommendations
- Anticipate the changes in regulation and compliance and bring support
- Own the global relationships with our key partners and elevate partnerships
- Support shipping and freight initiatives, including e-commerce last mile
International business trips to consider.
- Degree holder in Supply Chain, Business or related field
- At least 15 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity, with proven Logistics experience, preferably with a high level of automation and at a regional level
- Team leadership experience
- Ability to clearly communicate company initiatives, processes and goals
- Strong communication, negotiation, influencing and interpersonal skills
- Collaborative, team player, DE&I oriented, Business minded and results-oriented
- Able to balance priorities, resilient, dynamic and results driven
- Ability to drive a team towards decisions in an environment with high levels of complexity and high number of decision’s influencers
