Job Description Summary As part of BD Excellence ambition, the PS Product Sustaining Leader will manage a portfolio of Product Sustaining programs and projects across BD PS global network, including plants and worldwide initiatives. You will build the funnel of productivity programs, define scope and schedule, and engage cross‑functional teams to deliver impactful results aligned with ISC integrator processes. Job Description Our vision for pharmaceutical systems at BD: With innovative pre‑fillable syringes, self‑injection systems, safety systems and needle technologies, the Pharmaceutical Systems (PS) team offer an extensive selection of solutions designed to protect, package and deliver drug therapies. Responsibilities Provide leadership to streamline operating models and accelerate Business Continuity and GP improvement programs to achieve annual productivity targets. Strengthen governance, processes, and tools for Product Sustaining portfolio, ensuring prioritization, transparency, and accountability. Develop and maintain a funnel of projects driving cost reductions across PS, PFS, and ADDS platforms, meeting BU and ISC expectations. Collaborate with ISC integrators, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Engineering, and Plant Operations to validate ideas and present cases to leadership. Drive proof‑of‑concept work for feasibility, transitioning projects to execution in partnership with Program Manager – Execution. Champion continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma principles to enhance quality and reduce costs. Preferred Requirements B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical preferred); MBA or MS in Engineering is a plus. Proven track record in Lean manufacturing and productivity improvement. Minimum 10 years of progressive engineering and management experience, including project and capital management. Experience in operations and/or advanced manufacturing engineering within a global matrix organization. Strong leadership and ability to act in multicultural environments. Willingness to travel internationally up to 30%.
