The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for supporting the smooth, safe, and efficient operation and upkeep of the hotel's facilities, equipment, and engineering systems, under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager.

Relevant technical qualification, vocational training, ITI, diploma, apprenticeship, or equivalent practical training in Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, HVAC, Refrigeration, or a related engineering trade is preferred.
Previous experience in hotel maintenance, facilities, engineering, property maintenance, or a related environment is preferred; suitable entry‑level candidates with relevant technical training may also be considered.

Flexible working hours, including shifts, weekends, public holidays, and emergency call‑outs, as required by the property.
Ability to work in plant rooms, service areas, guest areas, and other operational environments and to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work for extended periods as required.
Ability to safely handle tools, equipment, and moderate loads in accordance with property procedures and applicable safety requirements.
Compliance with all applicable local health, safety, environmental, employment, and technical regulations.
