Scope Infrastructure enablement (hosting improvements, CI/CD, scalability, multi‑cloud architecture) Security and compliance facilitation (authentication, encryption, threat protection) Developer productivity enhancements (local environment setup, monorepo tooling, observability, tech stack evolution) Design and development unification (design system, accessibility) AI‑assisted engineering enablement (agentic development, code assistants, MCP servers) Focus for 2026 Expand the team, revisited multi‑cloud strategy, elevate the quality bar, and advance AI‑augmented development. Process Note Applicants for this area may ultimately join a different part of our engineering organization based on where we believe they will have the most impact. Responsibilities Tackle high‑impact & high‑risk projects involving many engineers. Design and implement robust infrastructure systems with a focus on reliability and observability. Maintain uptime targets while optimizing infrastructure costs. Improve incident management processes and lead post‑mortems. Build and maintain internal tooling (API, web interface, internal command line, etc.) for other engineers. Mentor other engineers and lead crews. Contribute to hiring and shaping the technical assessment process. Qualifications & Fit 3+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer. Strong experience with cloud platforms (especially AWS). Experience with monitoring, alerting, and observability tools. Comfortable writing code for automation and tooling. Some experience as a Full‑Stack or Backend software engineer. Willing to work in Python/JavaScript. Understanding of modern deployment practices and CI/CD. Ability to debug complex system issues. Self‑starting, entrepreneurial, humble, and collaborative.
