Data Annotation Specialist – French Language
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented, and analytical Data Annotation Specialist to join our team and support the evaluation and labeling of images, search queries, text, and other forms of data for a large enterprise client.
In this role, You will review data, apply detailed annotation guidelines, identify patterns and inconsistencies, and make thoughtful decisions when handling complex or ambiguous cases.
Who We’re Looking For
This role is open exclusively to candidates currently based in France who are fluent in French. Candidates should also have basic written and verbal English skills to understand project documentation, communicate with team members, and follow instructions.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, classify, label, and evaluate different types of data, including images, search queries, text, and other digital content.
- Apply detailed project guidelines and annotation criteria consistently across large datasets.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy, consistency, and productivity while meeting project targets.
- Flag unclear instructions, edge cases, and potential annotation issues to team leads or relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in quality assurance activities, including reviewing and validating annotations where required.
- Adapt quickly to updated guidelines, workflows, and project requirements.
- Collaborate with team members using communication and task-management tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Fluent French with strong reading and comprehension skills.
- Basic written and verbal English communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify subtle differences in data.
- Willingness to learn new tools, processes, and concepts.
