We are supporting a marine repair and refit environment in the search for an experienced Quality Control Manager to oversee site-level operational quality control activities.This role is strictly operational QC — inspections, punch lists, NCRs, and final acceptance.ISO / QMS remains with the QHSE team.Role OverviewThe Quality Control Manager ensures that all repair, refit, and maintenance works meet technical specifications, class rules, contractual requirements, and acceptance criteria, working closely with operations, project teams, subcontractors, and client representatives.Key Responsibilities🔱 On‑site inspections across hull, steelwork, mechanical, electrical, piping, paint, carpentry, and outfitting🔱 Application of ITPs and execution of visual, dimensional, and functional checks🔱 Monitoring subcontractor workmanship and reporting deviations🔱 Preparation and close‑out of punch lists during intermediate and final project phases🔱 Incoming inspection of critical materials and equipment🔱 Final acceptance inspections prior to delivery🔱 QC reporting, documentation control, and end‑of‑work quality dossiers🔱 Coordination with Project Managers to align QC with project schedules🔱 Identification, recording, and tracking of NCRs, with structured data sharing to QHSEIdeal Profile✔️ Strong background in marine repair / refit quality control✔️ Confident working on live sites with production and subcontractors✔️ Solid understanding of class requirements and acceptance criteria✔️ Methodical, organised, and comfortable challenging poor workmanship✔️ Operational mindset - hands‑on, visible, and detail focusedA strong opportunity for an experienced operational QC professional looking to play a key role in delivering safe, compliant, and high‑quality marine projects. #J-18808-Ljbffr
