What you’ll do as Senior Frontend Engineer As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Biolevate, you will drive the development of our most advanced and strategic UI components. You will work on highly interactive, AI‑powered interfaces that form the backbone of our platform. Your responsibilities Lead the architecture and implementation of complex frontend components, including rich text editors with deep AI integrations and interactive scientific data exploration tools. Design and implement performant, scalable, modular UI systems that will serve as the foundation for multiple Biolevate products. Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend/AI teams to translate scientific workflows into intuitive and powerful user experiences. Drive frontend best practices, code quality, component reusability, accessibility, and performance optimization across the entire product. Mentor engineers, share knowledge, and help elevate the frontend culture within the team. Tech stack (representative, not exhaustive) TypeScript Rich text tooling (ProseMirror, Lexical, Slate, TipTap…) Data grid technologies, virtualization Integration with backend AI microservices & protobuf specifications Who you are You are an engineer who thrives on building complex, highly interactive web applications. You love pushing the boundaries of frontend engineering and transforming sophisticated requirements into elegant, fast, and reliable interfaces. You will excel in this role if you: Have senior‑level experience in building modern React/TypeScript applications at scale. Have worked on advanced UI systems: editors, design tools, collaborative apps, spreadsheets, dashboards, or highly technical components. Possess a strong understanding of performance optimization, rendering strategies, and architectural patterns for large frontends.
