Our platform transforms complex biological datasets into actionable insights through cutting-edge technology, empowering scientists and clinicians to make data-driven decisions faster and more effectively.As part of our growing engineering team, you’ll work at the intersection of biology and software, helping to build world-class applications that bring our advanced scientific data to life through compelling and responsive user interfaces.About the RoleWe are looking for a Senior Front-end Software Engineer to lead the development of high-performance, user-centric web applications focused on interactive data visualization and complex charting components. You will play a critical role in shaping the user experience for scientists analyzing large-scale biological data sets.This role requires deep experience with modern front-end technologies, particularly React, Redux, and data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Highcharts, or similar), as well as a strong product mindset and a passion for building performant and scalable UI components.What You'll DoLead the architecture and implementation of new UI features in a large-scale React/Redux application.Design and optimize interactive charts, dashboards, and data visualizations that enable users to explore complex biological or clinical data.Collaborate closely with back-end engineers, and domain scientists to deliver intuitive and performant user interfaces.Continuously identify performance bottlenecks and lead efforts to improve rendering speed and responsiveness in the application.Contribute to UI/UX design discussions and decisions, especially related to usability in scientific contexts.Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit/integration testing, and adherence to best practices.Mentor junior front-end developers as the team grows and help guide technical direction on the front-end side.RequirementsProven track record of building responsive, data-driven applications with complex interactive charts and visualizations.Solid understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.Experience with charting libraries such as D3.js, Highcharts, or similar.Deep knowledge of performance optimization techniques for web apps, especially around rendering large datasets.Experience working in Agile development environments and with CI/CD pipelines.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including scientific domain experts.Ability to speak/read/write French (native or bilingual proficiency) & English (professional working proficiency).Nice to HaveFamiliarity with WebGL, Canvas rendering, or GPU-accelerated visualization techniques.Exposure to back-end technologies, particularly around APIs that serve large datasets (e.g., GraphQL, REST).Experience working in biotech, life sciences, or other data-intensive scientific domains.Familiarity with ISO 13485 and Quality Management Systems for Medical Devices.Why Join Us?Make a real-world impact on health and science.Join a collaborative, mission-driven team at the forefront of biotech innovation.Competitive compensation package.Work on technically challenging problems with a team that values innovation, mentorship, and personal growth.We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates. #J-18808-Ljbffr
