You will be responsible for delivering active pharmaceutical ingredients to the highest pharmaceutical standards in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment, with a focus on safety, quality and reliability.The **Indirect Category Manager** defines and deploys the sourcing strategy for the covered segment across the Group, with a strong focus on **cost optimization**, **value creation**, and **risk management**. He/She acts as a **value creator and value enabler**, continuously seeking opportunities to generate financial, operational, and innovation-driven value.As a **flagship ambassador of Procurement**, he/she builds trust-based relationships with stakeholders while having the **backbone to challenge needs**, question legacy practices, and promote total cost of ownership principles. Agile, autonomous, and results-driven, he/she ensures Procurement is recognized as a strategic function and a **key driver of EUROAPI’s competitiveness**.**Day-to-day on the job**### **Sourcing Strategy & Vendor Management*** Define mid- and long-term sourcing strategies aligned with business needs and value objectives.* Implement sourcing processes and deliver recommendations focused on cost efficiency and value maximization.* Manage supplier performance, lead business reviews, and foster trustful and competitive partnerships.* Seek and unlock value in all negotiations, contracts, and supplier interactions.* Conduct global risk assessments to secure sourcing and optimize supplier capacity planning.* Promote responsible sourcing with strong compliance and ethical standards.### **Transversal Management*** Lead and animate the network of buyers/category buyers for the managed segment.* Set ways of working, promote best practices, and drive synergies across sites.* Define and align segment objectives with stakeholders and communicate achievements transparently.* Act as a **value enabler**, supporting internal teams in achieving their goals through optimized demand and supplier innovation.### **Organization & Continuous Improvement*** Identify organizational challenges and recommend structural or procedural improvements.* Promote innovative tools and processes to increase efficiency, savings, and customer satisfaction.* Build KPIs related to cost, service, delivery, technology, and ethics, ensuring continuous improvement.* Champion a mindset of **value seeking**, challenging specifications, volumes, and supplier panels.### **Cost & Value Improvement*** Lead negotiations leveraging global volume and driving year-over-year cost and value improvements.* Maintain a detailed understanding of spend, cost models, and market drivers.* Build and propose budgets supporting EUROAPI’s financial and operational objectives.* Develop three-year visibility on cost and value improvement programs.* Identify internal and external value levers: demand management, panel optimization, innovation, TCO reduction, risk mitigation.**Our requirements*** Business or Technical/Engineering degree (University, Management School, Engineering School, postgraduate programs).* 5–10 years of experience in Procurement within a mature industrial environment (Automotive, Aeronautics, CPG, etc.).* Demonstrated ability to influence suppliers and stakeholders, and to lead impactful sourcing projects.* Proficient in French and English; additional language appreciated.* Strong process knowledge with ability to improve and adapt processes.* Solid understanding of cost models, financial levers, and commercial frameworks.* **Cost- and value-driven mindset**, constantly seeking opportunities to generate impact.* **Self-starter, agile, and goal-driven**, able to lead initiatives autonomously.* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.* Assertive communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills.* High interpersonal sensitivity and ability to build trust.* Comfortable managing complex, uncertain business situations.* Strong ethics, integrity, and compliance in all business interactions.* Backbone to challenge needs and promote value-based decision making.* Acts as a **procurement flagship**, elevating the function’s visibility and strategic impact.**Our company**EUROAPI is focused on reinventing active ingredient solutions to sustainably meet customers’ and patients’ needs around the world.
