Group Category Manager

In this strategic position, you will lead critical indirect spend categories such as CAPEX, Energy, MRO, Transportation, and Scientific Services.

With a spend portfolio exceeding €200M, this role offers the opportunity to drive change, build capabilities, and influence global decisions.

Day-to-day on the job- Strategic Leadership
- Define and implement sourcing strategies for your categories
- Coordinate a network of site buyers to ensure consistent category performance
- Identify supplier innovations and assess their relevance within EuroAPI
- Promote pre-sourced solutions and enhance user experience
- Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders at both global and local levels
- Lead supplier lifecycle and relationship management, including risk mitigation and performance monitoring
- Negotiate and optimize global MSAs to drive savings and value- Operational Excellence
- Lead global RFx processes, negotiations, and contract development
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Internal Control, and Finance teams to ensure successful outcomes
- Develop demand plans aligned with business and category strategies
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of projects and savings opportunities
- Educate internal clients on best-in-class procurement practices.

Our Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or Business
- 10+ years of experience in procurement, with strong expertise in indirect spend
- Proven track record in managing strategic suppliers and cross-functional teams
- Fluent in French and English (business level); additional languages are a plus
