Microsoft Advanced Technical Support SpecialistAbout the job Microsoft Advanced Technical Support SpecialistMicrosoft Advanced Technical Support SpecialistPosition OverviewWe are seeking a Microsoft Advanced Technical Support Specialist to provide expert-level technical assistance and problem resolution for complex Microsoft technologies, serving as an escalation point for challenging issues and delivering exceptional support to end users and IT teams.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvanced Technical SupportProvide tier 2/3 support for complex Microsoft technology issues across Windows, Office 365, Azure, and enterprise applicationsTroubleshoot advanced system problems including performance issues, connectivity problems, and software conflictsAnalyze system logs, event viewers, and diagnostic data to identify root causesPerform remote and on-site technical support using various tools and methodologiesServe as primary escalation point for helpdesk and junior support staffCoordinate with Microsoft support and vendor resources for critical issuesManage high-priority incidents and ensure timely resolution within SLA requirementsDocument complex problem resolution procedures and create knowledge base articlesSystem Analysis & OptimizationConduct system health assessments and performance tuning recommendationsAnalyze user workflows and identify opportunities for productivity improvementsPerform software compatibility testing and deployment supportAssist with system migrations, upgrades, and technology implementationsUser Enablement & TrainingProvide advanced user training on Microsoft applications and featuresCreate technical documentation, user guides, and video tutorialsConduct workshops and training sessions for power users and administratorsMentor junior support staff and share technical expertiseRequired QualificationsTechnical Skills5+ years experience in advanced technical support for Microsoft technologiesExpert knowledge of Windows 10/11, Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, and ExchangeStrong troubleshooting skills with system diagnostics and performance analysis toolsProficiency in PowerShell scripting and command-line utilitiesExperience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and network troubleshootingKnowledge of virtualization technologies and cloud services (Azure, Microsoft 365)Support SkillsProven ability to resolve complex technical issues independentlyExperience with remote support tools and ticketing systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving methodologiesExcellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiencesPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related technical fieldMicrosoft certifications (Modern Desktop Administrator, Microsoft 365 Certified Administrator)ITIL certification or IT service management experienceExperience with enterprise deployment tools (SCCM, Intune)Background in cybersecurity and compliance frameworks #J-18808-Ljbffr
